Muir of Dinnet

We didn't sleep here, but we would in a heartbeat. We arrived early to walk to ‘Burn o Vat’ and there was only one camper that had spent the night there (£10). It was super quiet. There is also the opportunity to fill your water (provided you have a very long garden hose) and you can empty your toilet for free. There is a separate cubicle for this next to the regular toilets.

At the parking lot at the visitor center of Muir of Dinnet nature park about 10 minutes drive from the nice town of Ballater with all kinds of shops (including a bakery and Coöp). Water tap, black water discharge and beautiful toilets. The overnight stay costs 10 pounds. There are 4 walks; the blue one disappointed us.
