Early May 2025 still closed, because under construction. Seems to be spacious and reasonably luxurious, but when?

The camper spot was unavailable at the end of July 2024 due to a major renovation. (see added photo) It seems to be very beautiful and extensive.

The place itself is an "industrial" perfect service spot: plee plus gray blacker for passers-by. Good separate waste processing. It costs 5 pounds! The Kintracamping at 5 km is much nicer but has no empty options. Costs £ 5 pp plus £ 10 for a 5-meter camper plus £ 1 per additional meter. At the other campsite in Port Charlotte you can stand all in for 18 pounds and discharge for 3 pounds.

parking place behind gas station on the outskirts of the city - handy for calmac ferry - shops, pubs and post office within walking distance - a longer walk to the 3 distilleries.
