Big car park, walkers arrive early. start of short trails and long mountain hikes. now £4 cash/card. free for national trust members. too cold and windy for midges!

Beautiful place indeed. Nice walk, but we also fled the next morning for the midges. 10 km away is a castle that is well worth a visit from the outside.

Beautiful empty place, third week of August we were alone. Nice booklets available on site about the area. A nice walk of 1.5 hours. But the enormous amount of midges drove us to the waterfall in Killin.
