Peaceful secluded car park on multiple levels, to give us complete privacy, plenty to do in the immediate area, cost £5 for an overnight stop.

On arrival we were surprised there are signs everywhere with paid parking. It turns out that from June 23, 2022, £5 will be charged per 24 hours for overnight stays. Fine of £100 for non-payment

We have been wonderfully quiet here. No amenities except a trash can and well lit at night. The museum village is very interesting and you can take a nice walk to the waterfall. We also had a delicious meal in Lanark (20 min walk) in Taverne the Crown in Hope street. Recommended!
