beautifully situated campsite on Loch Lomond. Sanitary facilities could be better.

Beautiful campsite on Loch Lomond. Well maintained, nice sanitary facilities, possibility to empty water and fill up etc etc. Washing machine costs 5 pounds for a wash, dryer 3.5 pounds. Everything is fine on this campsite but the A82 runs 40 meters further along the campsite, which I find a big disadvantage. 2 nights with campervan, 2 pers and electricity cost 66 pounds

Before the barrier and with web information it looks like a quality campsite, but it is NOT. Sanitary facilities completely insufficient in number and the cleaning...brrr!! The hard-standing pitches are no more than a piece of coarse gravel/lots of weeds. Reception is completely incompetent and extremely customer-unfriendly! I just had to call the manager to complain! We reserved and paid in advance for 2 nights but left after 1 night. So avoid!
