This comes close to wild camping, while the busy Rhine Valley lies at your feet. A simple parking lot that falls completely silent after the castle closes (5:00 PM in autumn), except for the occasional late hiker and two motorists, making it a unique place to spend the night. You have the starry sky and owls all to yourself. A little further down is a second parking lot with a gentler slope. An unofficial but permitted overnight spot. Fantastic!
