Beautiful spot. Very neatly laid out with clean pitches and lovely planting. Nice view. Good sanitary facilities. Upon arrival, we experienced a malfunction with the check-in kiosk. That is why we booked via the website: 10 euros more expensive. I sent an email about this. I received a call within 5 minutes. The money was refunded promptly and the check-in kiosks are working again. That shows the owners' commitment! Nice walk to charming Valkenburg. A visit to the Municipal Cave is highly recommended.

Definitely 5 stars: very friendly welcome. Nico takes the time for you without being pushy. Nice farm shop attached with delicious products! The pitches are very beautiful and quiet, right in the middle of the fruit trees. Very neatly laid out and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are a bit of a walk away, but certainly not too far. And very clean. You can get to Nijmegen in no time by bike.

The spot is great by the water (we were on the off-grid pitch) but: The website (in the FAQ) states that a new modern toilet block opened in April 2026. But that is not true!! When asked, they blame others for it! But the promise that it is there is indeed on their website! See photos for an impression of the toilet block that is actually there. In the evening, a huge brown rat appeared. It scurried around the camper for half an hour. If there is one rat.....

Toilet building 1 is closed for emergency repairs due to the risk of collapse!!! Building 2 is closed because it's being used for summer tent storage. So, only one building left, two sets of three toilets, and three showers for the entire campsite! Dirty, no water pressure (overused), and queues. No intention to fix it (should we add a temporary festival unit?). The surrounding area is fantastic! We had a wonderful walk and enjoyed ourselves. The campsite itself is empty and very expensive. Better find another location.

The campsite was full, tough luck for us. But to help us out, they offered us an option: we could park 500m further behind the castle and use the restrooms. We had to ignore the "no entry" sign. We had to skid up a wet, narrow gravel road for 300m, with no way to avoid the road or a clear view ahead. At the top, it turned out to be more of a garbage dump than a campervan site. And charging 300 sek for that? That's just not right! After a cautious descent, we quickly continued on our way.

Lovely, quiet campsite on a small lake. Swimming in the lake. One shower and two toilets. Very clean. Great shower. Even though the campsite wasn't full, we never had to wait for a toilet or shower. Very friendly owners.

A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Right on the Ambleve river. Light a cosy fire for your camper. Beautiful walks nearby. Enjoy yourself close to home. Sanitary facilities are not top notch but certainly sufficient. We would love to come back here.

Great spot close to the centre of Knokke. The smallest pitches are okay, but no more than a parking space. The other pitches are spacious enough for a normal sized camper. Enough space to put a chair and table. Close to the centre of Knokke. The beach is a bit of a walk away but doable: you walk all the way through the shopping street. Coastal tram and Knokke train station are a few minutes walk away. Sufficient sanitary facilities.
