Large parking lot on firm sandy ground. The higher parking spaces are for "regular" cars. The restroom building does indeed have two toilets and two sinks, but we didn't use them (probably not properly maintained in the winter?). It wasn't clean, and the lights didn't work. The village is quite unique. Dating back to the 11th century! It's very pleasant to stroll through. We couldn't place the photo of the barrier next to the restroom building.

We stayed here on December 16, 2025. A place to remember. No amenities, but as mentioned before… the wine tasting is well worth it. Delicious wines. As well as wonderfully spicy salt (from the "lac"). And the history of the chateau is remarkable. We slept peacefully and safely.

Great place to stay and spend the night for a visit to Óbidos. Lovely old town within the walls of the castle. Touristy yes, but that's what a town like this has to have. Nice walk, saw a lot, delicious food. And slept well and quietly on the PC. Emptying and filling is also possible! In the morning we found a plastic bag under the windshield wiper to put the 6 euros in and put in the letterbox (caixa) at the wooden house.

We totally agree with all the positive comments. Beautiful spacious places, everything fantastically clean. Lovely spacious and warm showers. Everything made with love, knowledge and insight into camper life. And we also had a great time cycling!

We completely agree with our predecessors. What a wonderful place to stay with your camper. You pay per spot and they are super spacious! The building for the sanitary facilities is coming along nicely. 1 toilet and 1 shower room already work fine on solar energy. camper Emptying the toilet was no problem. Thank you for everything!! Mayor and various residents!! My reaction is one for all the lovely people in this municipality. We arrived on 27/12/24 and unfortunately a few hours later unexpectedly by ambulance to Bilbao. Our camper unattended with light on and curtains open! "people" looked after the camper and after returning the mayor came to ask how it was going! And if we needed any further help! Heartwarming! We are very grateful to you ❤️

Beautiful CP, everything is there. We stayed here for 2 nights. Just report to the bar (at the swimming pool/piscine) to arrange the 3€ for electricity. That is on the power poles (also in English and we had not read that). And that train journey along the Douro! Fantastic! 15€pp. In Pocinho better to go back straight away (after changing locomotives) because that is only a platform, on the way back you can visit Pinhão ... plan that when buying a ticket.

We arrived on 6 Jan. Reception and bar closed. As on 5 Jan. according to another couple who arrived yesterday. at a certain moment someone at the reception could tell us with great difficulty (calling the boss) that an overnight stay with camper incl. electricity and 2 pers. would cost 15 euros. We stayed 2 nights. The price for 1 night is ultimately 20 euros if you are with two people. pers. 5 euros camper 6 euros electricity 4 euros The correct information could be better

On the edge of a ghost town. 6 paved places. Most of the houses are dilapidated. Bar is definately closed. No information about electricity connection. The cupboards are locked. Asked a walker with a dog, who fortunately gave us a telephone number 0034-629329992. Then someone came within 15 minutes to connect the electricity. That was very pleasant with the expected night frost.

Excellent CP. When we were there there was an almost complete change with campers leaving and returning. The toilets and showers were very clean (even paper was available). Very special! The supermarket on the corner (100 meters) is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. and at restaurant La Zau (on the other corner also 100 meters) you can have an excellent Spanish Menu for 11.00 or eat a la carte for Spanish prices... what else do you want?

gigantic mixed parking lot. various height levels. no facilities other than a (large) waste bin. beautiful walks from this place. no internet at the lowest level. on the Saturday we were there there was a disco evening in a large tent nearby. It was quiet again until about midnight afterwards.

We were also picked up and until the correct signage is ready (which the owners are very busy with), this is highly recommended. We enjoyed this gem of a CP. So wonderful that this is possible. Peace, fantastic environment for walking and cycling. you can use the shower room with toilet. Pauline and Maxime are nice people who are happy to provide information about this beautiful area! We had a very pleasant stay here for 3 nights. Alex welcomes everyone very friendly and is happy to provide you with various information about the area. He is happiest when his guests are satisfied! It is safe and pleasant here and we have had nice cycling routes. We will definitely come back here.

We drove here today because we were looking for a place with a hard surface (because of the enormous rain showers). Great CP we were happy with it. Until the river overflowed its banks!! We were NOT warned by the municipality or anything. Thank God a passer-by was kind enough to warn us, but by then it was almost too late. the cp filled up. Fortunately, our camper made it to the exit in the nick of time. Through 60cm high water

2 (shaded) pitches on asphalt with an empty spot in between (which is automatically cleaned after use). discharge chemical toilet on the side of the pole. Clean drinking water and even electricity (for 2 campers) is also free! It is also a parking space for other cars. The village is worth the (short) walk. thanks to the municipality for this beautiful place.

Great here! Really lovely people who wish you a pleasant stay. A very warm welcome, you feel welcome. Lovely (heated) shower room, with toilet. Everything neat and clean. Also a washing machine available. Keep in mind that you can NOT dispose of your waste here. Thank you Corinne and Dedier for the fun. We'd love to come back to you!

It's a parking lot. You can stand anywhere around the sports hall. We stood on the side overlooking the fields. Have still sat in the sun (chairs next to it). We were here on Sunday. passers-by, shepherd with lots of sheep, storks and pilgrimage walkers. Have something to eat and drink at Tio Pepe. Slept wonderfully peacefully! Garbage cans are available.

Indeed, don't be alarmed on arrival... the access road is very narrow, the entrance to the parking lot too... you will need help to get in and out anyway. But as said before, Manuel (and his employees) are very good at that! also a nice place to visit Porto. we walked towards it. also nice that there is a (clean) toilet. and for 2 euros you can take a shower (2 houses away). safe place!

Simple, but as described earlier, everything you need is there. We were here on 9-3-23 (rain, rain). the grass pitches are (mostly) reinforced with gravel so no problem with sinking. Lovely hot shower (2 euros). washing machine and dryer (4 euros each). And a super friendly owner Ton, who explains everything you want to know. Indeed bus (line 6) stops at 400 meters from the CP. great to visit Santiago.

Excellent cp for transit. Please note that the “real” motorhome pitches are to the left of the pool building! To the right of it is the service area. You can also park at the service area, but it is for passenger cars. When we left early in the morning and were going to empty, there were 2 campers parked over various ordinary parking spaces the camper, they clearly had not found the campsite!

Fine to stay overnight. Clean. Had no problems with passing traffic. Bakery across the street. Mix parking lot with many campers.

We were here on March 11, 2020. Camping closed. Incorrect info in guide.According to the rest.In addition, the campsite is closed from approx. until April! Prima.camping for motorhomes.Clean. Small shop. Fresh bread. 1D and 1H shower. So wait now and then. Get there narrow and steep. Turning 500m further is more pleasant, but that was due to our tomtom! Cycle path along the beach to Malaga! 17 km. Top.

Great transit place to visit Barcelona. Train station (ferro caril FJC) at approx. 5 min walk. buy tickets on track 2 follow blue footsteps. 10 journey ticket costs 11.35. The train goes to plaça España, then change trains and take L1 (red) to plaça cataluñya (ramblas) costs 2 journeys per single journey p / p. With zn 2 and therefore 8 trips consumed for return. Colonia Guell opposite cp in park.

Great cp to spend the night. All facilities available. Nice hot showers. Everything nice and clean. There is even a washing machine. (Pay extra of course). Warm welcome. You can order bread for the next day. What else do you want.

Large parking space at soccer field. Mainly for the locals who cannot park a car in the historic center. Therefore do not come after about 17.00 hours because then everything is full. Empty chemical toilet possibility, also water and emptying can. There is 1 public toilet, this was clean. Very nice medieval town. Very special. Several very special restaurants. Recommended!

CP under construction. No facilities yet. Nice baguette for 1 Euro from the machine. It is also used by the local population. Clean. Small town where there is nothing to do. Nice quiet place for transit.

Great overnight place for transit. Indeed 5 euros for 1 hour of electricity, water did not work, but still ... it can be just enough if you need it. And the view is beautiful. You are nice and close to the old part so there is still something to walk! We didn't do it anymore, too late and too cold (-5) when we were there.

Nice CP. Terraced terrain. 2 buildings with toilet, washing and shower facilities. Both wonderfully warm. We were there Jan 23 ,2020 and it was -2 degrees outside !! Order fresh bread for next morning. Reception very friendly. Bus (C10) at 1 km. Distance directly to the old city of Lyon. An absolute must !!
