Great place for a picnic and to arrange your sani, but we didn't stay there because of road noise

Fine, cozy place, with shade on a river where you can rent canoes if desired. Bakery, eateries and playground at 100 meters. Not seen a pilgrim, nor seen anyone to pay that mere six euros (the lady of the canoe rental did not know how to pay then either). Place is indeed located in the municipality of Guichen, but in the village of Pont-Réan.

Take the 6 as an assessment with a grain of salt (at least the pictures do not make me happy). Post this review only as a warning. If you drive into Saint-Émilion from the south side (so along the station), this parking is completely inaccessible due to bans of more than two meters or even a complete no-entry ban for motor homes and caravans. From Libourne or from the east take the D243 ...

Indeed a parking, no more than that, but nice base for walks in the forest. If you stand at the back, the sound of the road is not too bad. A quiet place to spend the night in a city environment, apart from generators of some refrigerated trucks. No facilities, but you are within walking distance of the palace. Bakery within walking distance (Rue du Maréchal Foch). The baker sometimes has long lines, but that is for pastries and ice cream. For bread just walk into the store along the line.

No official camper place, but good parking. Traffic noise during the day, but quiet at night. Reasonable shade, Intermarché and bakery around the corner. Tip: for Chartres and Lumières (light show in the old town, highly recommended!) You can park for free at Av. du Marechal Foch, to return to this place in the evening. Place sat!

It is nonsense that campers should not be allowed here. It's just not an official motorhome, just a mixed parking with generous places where hedges are indispensable. No facilities, apart from waste containers and a public toilet that is so dirty that you don't even want to empty your own toilet. Within walking distance of not unkind center.

Relaxed, small-scale naturist campsite by enthusiastic owners who also live naturist. Unfortunately few shade spots. A nice swimming pool and (for a fee) a hammam and hot tub. Within cycling distance of the old town of Parthenay with ramparts, city gates and half-timbered houses.

Great free, quiet place, even with clean toilets (with glasses!). Playground for toddlers. Arrived here at six o'clock first, now almost ten o'clock still two free places.

Eighteen euros is the price, but you are within walking distance of a cozy, old center with the Mezquita, a bizarre combination of mosque and cathedral. Light show in the evening in fountains in the castle's garden is also nice. Continue to the rear part of the terrain, that is the flattest and there you are in the shade. Stayed here for two nights in May for a visit to Seville. Plumbing was clean, staff correct to friendly and although it was fairly full it could still find a place in the shade.

As vwbill wrote: normal access broken. Alternative: when entering your city always keep to the right, past the cruise ship terminal (Av de los Descubrimientos). Involving is then extremely difficult, with nothing to do with a bus camper. Larger camper better drive a little further, back into calle nueve mondo, then straight ahead into the parking lot. Manager asked: Wednesday night no disco (not tested).

Keggen are hardly a solution here, only two suitable places are those under that beautiful tree. We chose the solution from Gansje.17. Warning for people coming from the north: our navi sent us on a very steep tight road. Could we just have had a bus camper, but am still ahead to explore. Was a great overnight stay after a visit to the first light festival castle Doornenburg. Great spectacle, great sleep. View of castle. Maybe on Saturday mornings, noisy, because on the other side of the road is sports complex.

Quiet place in forest on the edge of Kleve. Place flat enough not to use chines. A few lost beer cans (of which 1 half full) made us fear hanging on arrival, but that did not come (cans but thrown in the trash).

For such a mega-mix parking, you are amazingly quiet here. Nice starting point for hikes. Make sure you have done your shopping in advance.

Can not post comments about heavy traffic. We were there from Saturday to Sunday, barely any passers-by. No sewer air. Tariff of 24.90 per night including electricity is high for two-star camping, especially outside tourist area, but good, brand new facilities opposite. Is great camping. Nice place on the Waal, within walking distance of not too fascinating center. Parking ticket promises day ticket for 8.40, but where a day goes elsewhere for 24 hours, Tiel starts counting again the next morning. So you're more expensive.

Bald field with dixi toilet and picnic bench, in a place where apart from sauna complex and swimming pool there is nothing to do. But in transit for one night fine and if your sauna or pool is not used you can shower for two euros. And it is also free, so nothing to complain about. The middle parking lot (at the stated GPS coordinates) has extra long spots. Perfect place with excellent sani column and finally a drinking water tap where you can pay per 10 liters (a raison of 10 cents). Quiet place, spacious places. Great machines for electricity and water tap, which also swallows small coins so you can take exactly the amount you want. On the edge of the center, which has the necessary shops and a few cafes / restaurant, but is not special.

Were here shortly before Easter, already thought that it should not be much wetter. Could still get away on their own. At the entrance 4 tiny paved parking places for campers. Eight euros would be an absurd price for a bare parking space, but the location on the Waal is worth gold! Only unsuitable if you can not handle the noise of passing ships.

Beautiful leveled place with beautiful views and shade. And it is France Passion, which rarely have facilities but are free. Wine tasting is not mandatory, but tempting. Unfortunately, the pool was empty when we were there.

Quiet place near the municipal swimming pool. Moncontour is a nice town to stroll through one or two hours.

Indeed nice place, with beautiful views and within walking distance of nice little town. Pannenkoekenrestaurant Pont Farm serves excellent pancakes. Swimming I would however certainly want to discourage, both for yourself and for your dog: passing ships suck the water out first, and then come back twice as hard. Perilous!

We came from the other side of the ferry. On the opposite bank to the ferry, the sky was unbearable, but at the CP smelled nothing more. I suspect that wind will usually be so favorable. CP is also beautiful with wide spots in the green and overlooking the Seine. Drinking water three euros.

Nice quiet spot on the river. The village is not much, but with a supermarket, a bakery and a kebab shop within walking distance, you will not get hungry. In itself a great place, well situated and enough space around you. Toilet building looks somewhat goezelig, but is maintained and clean. Only the promised wifi is not there. There are large signs that you have to pay eight euro per night, at a pin-vending machine that just works. The only thing is that first you should specify which spot you state (choose from 1 to 12), while there are no numbered places. Choose a random number then you can pay and get you a ticket

Langdon place chemical toilet not found, or you need to dump into the public squat toilet. However, that is so vile that your dog there are need not yet in lets do. But the views of the medieval town and especially the Vauban citadel makes everything more than good.

No official CP, but a parking lot by motor home travelers used to (legally) spend the night. Delicious in the Woods, at the ruins of the old Abbey. Is less than one kilometer from the Chemin des Dames (World War I battlefield) near war museum in Quarry.

Shaded areas places not big, but you stand on edge of Park with grass strip at your camper. When I asked front desk at CIS data from wifi network and told that I was on cp, I got told I had to have problem-free network Wifipass. that's on CPzelfs with turbowifi too weak for connection. Wanted it in the cis-Hall try, but then it was Wi-Fi suddenly not for CP

Visited in summer 2013. Indeed nice base for the Cañon del Rio Lobos. Village offers shops and ATM, but not much further.

Nice located. However, Sanizuil, which was referred to the other Cp in the village. That, however, was defective. A plaque there alert referred to the nearest working column in Bogny

Great place within walking distance of the old centre, but hopeless betaalutomaat. That accepted only a minimum of two nights, how many times I also using the button tried to reverse that number. Vending machine is pretty congested, at large distances out of sight on the other side of the Marina.
