Satisfied with the spot on the campsite. Small fenced pitches with enough space for our camper (7m). Cycle about 1 km through the village to reach the cycle path along the Musel. A beautiful bike ride is possible, but it is busy (due to wine festivals). Supermarket on the other side of the river. Bakery down in the village of Alf. The sanitary facilities on the campsite were clean, but the water for washing dishes and showering was cold!!! Shower with hot water behind the reception.

The campsite is located on the Mainradweg. A beautiful spot, on a paved surface, by the water. We received a friendly welcome and an explanation. Two sanitary blocks, both neat but…….. The shower room is about a 1 km walk from our pitch. The toilet block is close by, and both are well-maintained and clean.

Large campsite; part of it has permanent pitches, but there is a very large field with spacious pitches for transient campers. Friendly welcome, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities. Shower with a 50-cent coin and electricity per kWh. Absolutely not too expensive, 44 euros for 2 nights incl. electricity, 2 people with a camper. Charged bikes twice and used the small oven. Cycled to Bambergen via the Mainrad cycle path, 29 km. Beautiful city, very touristy. Great campsite 😋, highly recommended for us.

Friendly welcome but… The campsite can no longer be properly maintained by the owner. As a result, the grounds are in need of maintenance. Nice sanitary building, but here too there is overdue maintenance and it is not clean. The shower is nice and warm. Otherwise, no facilities are available. You can walk or cycle down via a forest path. Be careful, sometimes very steep and loose gravel. The town has also seen better days. 35 euros for 2 people, electricity, and camper.

Neat, small-scale campsite. Friendly welcome. Paved pitches for campers. Clean restrooms. The water in the shower could be a bit warmer, and toilet paper would be nice. We were just staying one night on our way home, so I can't comment on the surrounding area.
