This is our third time here. It's wonderful to see how the camper site is getting better and better. Kevin and Mimi do a fantastic job. To the people who have had bad experiences and left bad reviews, I just want to say: "Take a good look in the mirror."

At first, you wonder, "Where am I going?", but ultimately, it's a perfect spot with excellent amenities. The visitor center is well worth a visit. There are also lovely walks in the surrounding area.

I really enjoyed staying with Remco. He's a great host and a pleasure to return to.

Simone gave a warm welcome. The facilities are good. It's a lovely walk to the reservoir and waterfall, though not always easy for older guests.

Prices have gone up considerably. In January 2025, we paid €12 for a pitch, and in January 2026, €18. Other prices include €0.70 per person for tourist tax, €4 for electricity, and €1 for a 6-minute shower.

The campsite is good and a nice starting point to explore the top of Scotland.

€4.50 for parking, €15 for overnight stays. Toilets are also open at night. You can cycle almost the entire length of the canal to the Falkirk Wheel. It's very doable. You can also park there for free, but not overnight stays.
