Pros: close to the highway. Friendly owner whom we were allowed to pay €20 in cash. Pitch was fine & electricity included. Opportunities for improvement: The sanitary building was complete but somewhat dated. Toilets were okay but without paper. Urinals on the outside of the building in the open air next to the 3 showers. No hot water for washing dishes. Also no soap for after using the toilet. Showers were warm. In short: fine for a road trip.

In terms of location, a great campsite. Close to the fascinating city center and also nicely situated in a green area. Hypermarket literally around the corner. Reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The pitches are a good size. Some are paved, while the others are covered with soil and grass. The sanitary facilities are adequate and located in a single building. However, they could be cleaned more frequently during busy periods. Soap and paper towels are missing, which is a shame. Otherwise, a solid rating!

Great campsite, close to the old town! Great for walking and/or cycling. 2 sanitary buildings, a tad dated but clean and functioning well. Large and smaller pitches available. The ground surface varies. We had a sand/grass/fine gravel version that was reasonably level. Please note: reception is closed between 12:00 and 14:00. Highly recommended!

A great campsite for a visit to the beautiful city. Friendly welcome and very decent sanitary facilities. Despite the campsite being busy, there was a quiet atmosphere. We did not make use of the campsite restaurant.

Pleasant campsite, good location for a visit to Gandia. Pleasant atmosphere at the campsite. Nice swimming pool, outdoor bar, and a small restaurant with a limited menu. Sanitary facilities were clean and modern. Pitches on relatively fine and medium-fine gravel. No shop (though baguettes and croissants are available freshly baked in the morning), but a fine Spar within a 500-meter walk. Stayed 3 nights, highly recommended!

Beautifully maintained campsite with lots of greenery. Very nice swimming pool! No standard pitches. The sanitary facilities are simply good and clean. Toilets without seats, so typically French. The shower area is very neat and cleverly designed. The welcome at reception was extremely warm. We were allowed to walk around ourselves and choose from selected pitches. Due to its location relative to Ceret, it is also a great campsite for a slightly longer stay. Highly recommended for the journey south!

Great campsite for a few nights or as an overnight stop on the way south. New and clean sanitary facilities, a cozy terrace with an outdoor bar and pizza food truck. (Also an indoor restaurant in case of bad weather.) Excellent, spacious pitches that all differ in terms of greenery. The owners and staff are all very nice and helpful. The campsite is also perfectly located in relation to Avignon. You can reach the city center in no time by bike and via a bicycle ferry.

A great campsite for an overnight stay on the way south or for visiting wineries for a few days. We received a very friendly welcome at the reception. (The lady at the reception spoke excellent English). The pitch assigned to our camper was a good size. The sanitary facilities are very clean and there is more than enough of them. Great value for money!

A great camper location! We were warmly welcomed by the owner of this campsite specifically for campers or tents. Beautiful, large green pitches, equipped with water and electricity, and clean, very new-looking sanitary facilities. Check-in and check-out are handled via tablet in the central area on the grounds. Baarlo, with the Plus supermarket, is nearby, and there are four castles surrounding Baarlo. Heiderust is highly recommended!
