I found the CP to be an excellent stop and we stayed for 2 nights. I disagree with some of the negative posts. We had our chairs out most of the time, enjoying the view of the marina. There was some noise during the day: remember it is a working marina but it is peaceful at night. There are several bars and restaurants just outside the marina and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. To sum up fantastic location and excellent value for money.

I have been travelling France for 12 weeks in my motor home and this is by far the best stop over. I stayed two nights, enjoying the food, wine and hospitality. The location offers fantastic views from the upper patio, free use of the swimming pool and paid use of the spa. The town of Castillion La Bataille is a short cycle ride. The town is on the banks of the Dordogne river offering spectacular views.

Excellent parking area which is kept clean and tidy. There is a bar onsite. All services available, Water, waste and electricity (to be paid for). Also a jet wash suitable for cleaning the motorhome but no gantry. It is located just off the motorway

No facilities. All taps sealed and black waste locked. A shame because itβs a great location
