Beautiful place, 15 minutes drive to the Ferry at Dover. At the beginning of the access road it says that it is only for local traffic (this is also the case if you want to spend the night there). The locals also park there for a walk with, for example, the Dog. Certainly do.

Quiet place on the water. At the Silver Sands Car Park go straight on (only for local traffic). Going down you will pass a disabled parking space, take the bend to the right here. You then have the option to park your camper in two places. Maximum duration is two days, donations in a box desired. We are from here, on foot to the station, and then by train to Edinburgh. Great to do.

There are two camper pitches, which are located near a building with a kiosk and toilet. In most of the photos, campers are parked in the parking strip next to the grass. It is indicated that these are not camper pitches.

The camper location is located behind the visitor center. There is an outside tap between the visitor center and the road. The visitor center is unmanned, open between 10 am and 8 pm. There is a toilet in the visitor center. No garbage cans available. Quiet location. Paved pitches, slightly sloping.

Spent a night here in July 2023. Great location. Quiet location. Garbage cans available. Parking fee 3 pounds. We recommend the walk along the waterfalls to a mountain lake, about 2 hours up and down.

Campsite with many sheltered spots, lots of shade. Sanitary facilities are too few for the size of the campsite. It is remarkable that the campsite owner makes a difference between his own dog (which is allowed to roam around freely) and the dog of a guest.

Grassland in front of Weingut. Power available. Sign up at the house behind the motorhome. If no one is there, you can choose a place yourself (we did). This motorhome is located just behind another motorhome. Friendly people. Possibility of wine tasting. Stood one night. Worth repeating.
