Beautiful place. We arrived here at night after arriving late in Kristansand. We only realized where we were in the morning and walked around the small harbor. Be sure to take the path up for a beautiful view of the cliffs and the sea. The parking lot is on a relatively quiet road.

There's no RV park at this location. There's one a few kilometers away. I just added it.

Great campsite, but quite pricey. We paid 900 NOK for two nights, including electricity. It was peak season, though. The surrounding area is beautiful, with a view of a waterfall and high mountains. We took a rest day after Kjeragbolten. The sanitary facilities are excellent, and the grounds themselves are a combination of grass and gravel. We were allowed to choose our own spot on the campervan site. It's primarily a campsite for those passing through. You have to book the ferry in advance, and it's not very expensive.
