Toilets and showers are being refurbished June 2026.

Two of the pitches looked as if they had permanent residents. A run down depressing place. The local Aldi had a group of alcoholics hanging around the door getting drunk. Could not leave quick enough.

Very outdated showers caked with limescale and no headroom. If the facilities were modernised this would be a very nice location. Plenty of EHU points but you might need a long cable because they are well spaced out.

We found the managers very helpful. We couldn't get a taxi in to town (too hot to walk or cycle) so one of them offered to take us in and collect us again later on. The campsite had a lot of migrant workers in tents, so the showers were very busy and messy from 17:00 onwards. Electrical cables were running all over the place because the hookups were plentiful but concentrated in too few places.

Located on a very steep slope. Sanitaires 200m from our pitch and much farther for others. Path down to the beach is very steep and made up of loose gravel. 1.7km to town centre. Too hilly and too far for us to walk so this campsite not for us, especially at β¬37 per night.

The aire has a very run-down appearance. the grass is too long, the hedges not cut and the pitch we were on was very bumpy. There is a boulangerie and small shop in the village. There are also vending machines for bread and pastries in the main square.

Great spot only 150m from the busy little town centre. Several shops cafes and pubs and two good supermarkets. There is a sewage works close by so it can be a bit smelly depending upon the wind direction.

Arrived just as they were closing for lunch and the told us to return at 14:00. Refused us access to a pitch and to emphasise the point drew a chain across the entrance! We didn't go back.

Lovely location next to the canal with nice grassy pitches (not dirt). Very pleasant 10 minute walk in to the village to the boulangerie. Good cycle path alongside the canal.

Very shabby and run down. Mosquito infested location between the canal and river. The only thing positive were the showers which had abundant hot water. Very pretty village above on top of the hill but nothing to see.

Nice location near to town centre and good sized pitches. Toilets and showers were dirty. Cleaning seems to consist of hosing everything down once or twice a day.

An excellent site with good, level pitches. 18Amp electricity supply and water at the service point. Ticket includes use of the showers. The gardens around the Spa are beautiful and there is a nice cafe/restaurant in the gardens. An excellent supermarket is right next door.

Really nice spot surrounded by high hedges and adjacent to a car park on one side and a cafe/bar on the other. Electricity for every pitch and water close by. The pitches all slope a little but not too bad. Payment is a bit of a nuisance because you either need coins or pay the attendant in the hut between 09:00 and 10:00 (it cost us β¬33 for three nights so thatβs what we did). Recommended.

More than a stellplatz but not quite a Campsite. Excellent facilities next to three supermarkets and the bistro that runs it. We arrived on a Sunday and found ourselves on our own for the night. We felt quite isolated and did not feel safe. For all that there are excellent toilets, showers etc I think it is a bit overpriced. β¬12.50 per pitch, β¬6.00 per person and β¬2.50 for electricity adds up

A superb Stellplatz but it is a bit annoying that you have to use cash for the ticket machine and it has to be the exact amount. Contactless payment would be much better, especially when you need β¬1 and and 10c coins for water, depending if you want 80 litres or just 10 litres.

Great location for visiting Canterbury. The free shuttle bus runs every few minutes in to town. The new area for motorhomes (straight on and turn right once through the barrier) is flatter, more spacious and quieter.

An excellent βAireβ. Well laid out and clean and tidy. Very nice town centre a ten minute stroll away along the adjacent canal. We would return without hesitation.

Long grass on all of the pitches despite the site being almost empty. All of the pitches were on a slope.

Quite a scruffy, unkempt campsite. The shower block and toilets are very dated. A long walk in to the village along a busy road with no footpath and deep ditches on either side.
Sitecode: 6577
Potentially, a really nice campsite with a variety of pitches from grass to hard standing. However, the allocation of pitches and the location of electrical points is a shambles. People with tents are allocated to pitches with electricity and motorhomes might struggle to hookup because the electrical points can be 30m or more away and randomly placed. The toilets and showers are not attractive.

Lovely country pub 15 minutes (6 miles) South of the A66. Very nice staff and good food in a homely atmosphere.
Sitecode: 62970
Nice camper stop with a variety of pitch sizes. Well laid out. The only problem is a lack of hot water in the shower blocks. You have to be early to get hot water for a shower! The site had only been open a month when we were there so perhaps the water issue is a teething problem.

Great little site but service point for water and electricity was out of order when visited on 03/07/2017.

Very nice Aire but to be honest, not much to do here. Supermarket is now Netto. Le Mairie says there is no problem parking in the car park if all the bays are full as the car park is not busy (the supermarket has its own car park).

Did not like this site at all. A large dusty car park where the motorhomes are parked next to a busy railway. The service point is located on the way in to the car park (which is down a narrow lane) and the toilet waste disposal gives off a ghastly smell. There were also travelling people using the site.

The guest card issued with the parking ticket permits free regional train travel as far as Basel. Trains are 15 minutes before every hour. Beautiful gardens surrounding the site and excellent facilities in the Thermal Bad. This Stellplatz is better than many a campsite.

Very nice location close to the town centre and Aldi is only 300m away. Very busy site with the pitches overlooking the Rhine like gold dust. Can be a bit noisy with trains passing but the line is not nearly so busy overnight. There is clean public toilet onsite that costs 50cents.
