One of the best-maintained camper sites I know. Spacious pitches, good and clean sanitary facilities, and all the amenities a camper could wish for. It is also beautifully situated amidst greenery on the edge of the village, with the Drents-Friese Woud within walking and cycling distance. A top spot (and has been for years)!

The nicest campsite of our holiday in southern Sweden. Charming, relatively small, beautifully situated on the lake, top new and clean sanitary facilities, hot showers and included. Lovely bathing water, even when it is not so warm. Spacious pitches. When we were there, many guests left and the spacious pitches came into their own even better. Walking possibilities from the campsite are limited but possible.

The very friendly owners make a stay at their campsite very pleasant. Well-kept spacious pitches, a pot of coffee 'to go' on arrival and a very clean 'corona proof' toilet block with separate entrances and exits. Beautiful views over the fields and beautiful sunsets. You can also enjoy a wonderful weekend away in November.

I would only choose this place for the view. Unfortunately, the direct access to the beach is via the neighboring campsite and they only want to allow guests. To access the lake you can walk or cycle 200 meters to the north down a steep slope or to the village of Scheid, 15-20 minutes walk and partly along a road.

The best motorhome in the Netherlands that we know. Nice view over the farmlands and the Dokkumer Ee and yet also close to the historic old town of Leeuwarden. A boat trip with the volunteers of the Praamvaren foundation is highly recommended. The motorhome itself leaves nothing to be desired. Comfortable (heated) toilet block with rain showers, dishwashing area, washing machine and dryer. Top

Meanwhile, two toilet buildings have been added, giving 9 ladies showers for both ladies and gentlemen, as well as extra toilets and washbasins. The grounds themselves are quite wet after a very wet summer season, but there are plenty of dry places to be found right now.

Beautiful well-groomed motorhome next to farm and near the A27. Ideal as a stop over to or from the south. Motorway see and hear you, but not disturbing. We stood there on 18-8-2016 and stood there alone.
