What a lovely, quiet campsite. New showers and toilets super clean! An extra compliment to (father-in-law) Henk for the pleasant chats and the walking/cycling tips. Walked the beautiful walking route, the Umfassungsweg, across the Twickel estate.

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. What a lovely quiet campsite. Nice and clean sanitary facilities/showers (without coins) with underfloor heating! Upon arrival you get a folder to borrow full of useful information. We will definitely come back!

Lovely quiet campsite with spacious pitches and friendly owners. Nice base for walking and cycling tours and not far from the beautiful Dokkum.

Very good base for a visit to the Preikestolen, very friendly reception who will speak to you in Dutch. WiFi strength depends on where you are on the campsite, toilets and showers are fine.

What a lovely quiet campsite. We have been here 2 nights. Very friendly owners who took over the campsite at the beginning of this year and still have great plans with it. Also nice that you can rent a sloop, canoe or sup here and actually sit directly on the Frisian lakes from the campsite. We will definitely come back here.

What a nice quiet campsite with spacious pitches and delicious restaurant Janneman! The owner walks around the campsite every day for a chat with the guests, even in the pouring rain and in warm weather he hands out ice creams. Definitely a place to come back.

What a lovely quiet campsite with beautiful spacious pitches. We are passing through and have been here for 2 nights. On Friday they organize a bbq, it was very nice and cozy. Thank you Richard and Samantha for taking such good care of us and when we are in the area again we will definitely be back!

What a wonderful campsite. Just in the preseason so we were allowed to choose a spot ourselves. Very nice owners and speak good English and a little Dutch. We were supposed to stay 1 night but made it 2. Cycling via the Via Verda to Girona is a must! Excellent toilets / showers and 2 washing machines that you could use for free. We did not find the road in front of the campsite disturbing. We will definitely come back!
