Beautiful, clean, and cozy. Recently taken over by a young couple, there are still a few finishing touches to be done (the bathroom fixtures are a bit dated, and the water at the chemical toilet was turned off), but they'll get to that soon. A very cozy restaurant where you can make reservations for breakfast, lunch, and drinks, open until 6:00 PM. The village is a 3 km bike ride away. Restaurants are available in the surrounding area.

The price is initially low (15,—) but everything has to be paid with coins (water, electricity, shower and even toilet), which is a bit inconvenient in our opinion. Shower is very cramped and a bit difficult because there is no room for shower stuff. Owner is very nice and places are nice and paved!

Location is fantastic and the facilities certainly have a lot of potential. There are still some points of attention for this price. The lighting on the site is really necessary and the WiFi is still very variable in quality, sanitary facilities are clean but outdated. Everything else still needs to grow a bit. Cozy, neat camper place. Bakery within walking distance. Cycling to historic town of Wijk bij Duurstede (market on Wed) 10 km. Odijk about 5 km where Jumbo, Boni, Kruidvat etc. are. Houten can also be cycled (market on Thu).

Beautiful new camper place between the fruit. Village Odijk 5 minutes by bike with greengrocer, butcher, bakery, cheese farmer, Jumbo, Boni, Kruidvat, Primera, flower shop and restaurant Wapen van Odijk. Utrecht, Wijk bij Duurstede and Houten within cycling distance. Wednesday market in WbD and Thursday in Houten. At De Brink in Werkhoven on Friday morning the fishmonger and Saturday morning a cheesemonger. There is also a bakery in Werkhoven.

We wanted to stay here for 1 night, but the gate was closed on arrival. Went in through an incoming car and read that they have a break until 3:00 PM, fine, then we wait half an hour, but I couldn't get through the gate anymore. Then came a grumpy rude er…, k..w…. from the highest order to the office. I fled in terror. Then read the reviews. Really never seen such a person!!
