We stayed one night in late July. Lovely, small site. excellent toilets and showers dedicated to the campsite. Great beer (Butty Bach) and really friendly landlords. Small deli on site now for fresh bread and cheese etc. 20 minute walk down to the River Severn. We sat in the large garden and felt safe with the social distancing and sanitary stations on hand. Very quiet overnight so a great sleep.

Excellent stopover. We stayed three nights. Bus to Comillas near the superb bakery on the main road.We were all allowed to put chairs and tables out sensibly. Good beach with two restaurants. 12 Euros a night with 6 amp supply. Shower 1 euro and when the site is full it's a tad slow to get a shower, but ok. Lovely women who runs the aire with lots of local knowledge as to what to do and see in the area. Easy trip back into Santander. Good supermarkets in Torrelavega. Definitely will go back.

Stayed in Oct 2019 in 7m MH. Refurbishment complete and very attractive pub. No electric hook up but spacious rear car park and welcoming staff. £20 per night if not eating. Buses 14a,14 and 13 into the city. Good cycle routes into Oxford. Old Marston is lovely and 15 minute walk to the Thames river at the Victoria Arms pub. Garage, fish and chip shop and supermarket only a 10 minute walk away.

Excellent aire. Many thanks to the town council. Small shaded area with tables in the corner helps when it's hot. Bodega Valdelana nearby has tokens for electricity and does a free wine tour with 4 samples to taste for motorhomers. Delightful rural walk and mirador view of Frank Gehry's famous hotel at the Marques de Riscal's bodega. Lovely town with lots of bars and restaurants. Worth a night.

Good marked walking trails. Its rural Alentejo bliss. Go!!

An excellent facility for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Good hot showers, well kept toilets and a 24 hour manned reception. Easy walk into the centre. We paid 9.50 Euros with 16 Amp connection in late May. Good separation between emplacements. Intermarche in town with fuel. Lots of pleasant little restaurants. We liked O Lagar (the Winepress). Great bakers. Small tourist office. Thank you Meda.

A lovely site that is well managed by friendly staff. Excellent shower and loo facilities. Grass parking so easier when dry. Very close to town and flat walking. The river walk to Benson lock is recommended with a lock and weir over the Thames and a good restaurant for coffee or more. Easy bus connections to Henley and Oxford. See the Donkey Sanctuary too. Like the friendly Queens Head pub very near.

The price for this lovely, small site is now £17.50. The White Horse pub is excellent and only 15 minutes walk. There are a steak, a chinese and a fish restaurants 10 minutes walk away too. Good cycle paths take you into the city. The number 10 bus stop is a 300 metre walk away and goes into ancient York. Delightful. Grey waste into hedge, and a chemical disposal point available as is fresh water.
