A perfect location in itself. It's a real shame that the facilities haven't been working for quite some time. You can't get water or empty your toilet. This leads to disgusting situations. We've seen several people empty their chemical toilets into the gutter or a drain. So disgusting!!!!! We've reported this to the Tourist Office, and hopefully, they'll address it soon.

The campsite is great, with spacious pitches and a friendly welcome. But the sanitary facilities are terribly filthy, not just a little dirty, and below standard. We've never experienced anything this bad in all our years. Such a shame for this beautiful place.

What a difference from a few years ago. Where a camping equipment used to be on a spot. that have now become 2, so that you are almost sitting on the neighbors lap. This along with the arrogance of the lady on reception closed the door for us. We drove on to camping Neunbrunnen, less than 10 km north. A gem !!

Excellent site with a fantastic large hot tub and sauna. Spacious places, clean sanitary facilities, exceptionally friendly receptionist Claire and speaks very good English. Supermarket at 200 meters, beautiful area. You can enjoy walking around the lake. Top spot, including electricity, hot tub, sauna for only € 15 (29-5-2022)

Location near the town is perfect. However, the motorhome is not yet finished. The toilets are not ready yet. The information in app is not correct, see photo. The place is € 12,-, for drinking water and cassette you pay € 5,- and for electricity € 4,-

We came across this pearl of a motorhome by accident. A spacious motorhome that has been well thought out and a manager couple, Joop and Yvon, with the heart in the right place and a great sense of humor. From the high CP a unique view and the opportunity to listen to and see the most beautiful birds. Overall, a lovely place to stay. We have closed Extremadura in our hearts together with Joop and Yvon

Perfect location to visit the fortified town. But as a motorhome insufficient. To discharge the gray water you have to drive up a concrete edge of about 10 cm high, cassettes are emptied into the gray well and there is only one water point which is used for both the cassettes and drinking water. Mind you, not really fresh.

This campsite is located near the center of Borculo and is managed by very enthusiastic people who will do nothing to make your stay a success. A lovely warm welcome with coffee and a cake. Spent four nights at this newly opened campsite with spacious pitches, with water and electricity. The plumbing is brand new and looks fantastic. In addition to the spacious recreation room, there is a spacious and luxurious disabled shower/toilet. The campsite is managed by a young enthusiastic couple who do everything they can to make your stay a success. You can order fresh bread rolls every day. The environment is fantastic, in short an asset.

Beautiful camper place. Neat toilet that is only accessible to the motorhome guests with a code that is stated on the receipt when you buy your ticket. Unfortunately, the bakery no longer exists.

Great place near the center. Near the Lidl but that is not the Lidl as we know it. The Corona measures were seriously below par, aisles too narrow for 2 shopping trolleys. The quality of fruit and vegetables was very sad.

Location and camping are perfect. Spacious places. Power on request but very pricey € 5. Reception very friendly. However, the sanitary building opposite the reception is a tragedy. An old, dirty and dirty building that is outdated. There is a small new sanitary building on the side. This one looks a lot better.

The stay at De Slaaphoeve was one that will stay with us for a long time. The extremely warm welcome from the manager and his care, sincerity and sense of humor have made our stay a great success. We, as enthusiastic cyclists, had a great time, the oil route was really worth it. We will definitely be back !!

Sanitary dated but neat and tidy. Bread service. The villages at the top of the campsite have noise from the busy road. On the other side of the sanitary building, the places are a bit quieter, but more is being charged for that. ACSI rate of € 19, - (top of the campsite) will be € 26, - or 37% higher by kurtax and ecotax. We felt that strongly.

Beautiful location, view of lake and mountains. The CP itself is not very common, it is a large parking lot. You can walk around the lake. Although the manager warned us about possible noise from the opposite disco, that was not so bad. Eating at hotel Gundl Al, was a fiasco. The food was cold and the reaction of owner was even colder if possible. Never again !

Nice campsite behind the hotel. The bathroom is very clean. At 400 meters is Aldi and at 600 meters the Edeka. The center of Kastellaun is 1 km.
