Super site with level grass pitches. The sanitary facilities are first class. The English speaking reception staff are friendly and helpful. The site is well illuminated at night time adding to the sense of security. All this for only €21 per night with ACSI.

Sitecode: 92774
This quiet aire alongside the D80 has firm, level, gravel hardstanding. All the services for motorhomes are available, there are no delineated parking spots just find a space and park up. The pretty Étang Duris is alongside and the La Rigolette restraurant is next to the aire. There was no noise or disturbance from La Rigolette through the evening or night - a pleasant aire.

Stopped for one night; March 1st. Quiet and secure, level Tarmac surface, illuminated all night adding to the sense of security. Located in the north end of the car park. All the motorhome facilities are close by, alongside the D665E1. Shops located in nearby the Rue du Palais de Justice.
Sitecode: 52972
Stopped on March 4th: 1 night. Discovering that over night stopping at Cité Europe had now been banned the only option available was the Calais aire. Entry was easy with straight forward screen instruction on the pay terminal. Firm level surfaces, a feeling of security and a quiet night plus an easy exit with more straight forward screen instructions.
Sitecode: 2593
Stopped on March 2nd: 1 night. An area adjacent to the Salle Polyvalente “ESPACE JEAN MOULIN” has been tarmacked and car parking lines marked, still leaving plenty of motorhome parking either on the grassed area or the level, firm based sandy/gravel area. The whole area is well illuminated throughout the night and very quiet. A new Leclerc is 2km. eastward on the D927.
Sitecode: 189
Stopped on Mar 1st: 1 night, electricity was not available this year the only change from 2019. I don't understand hansu comment about 3.5 tonne weight vehicles. We are well over 3.5 tonne and have no difficulty in accessing the aire. The aire and village is a real hidden French gem.
Sitecode: 1771
Nearly stopped on February 29th! Its difficult to rate this aire, superficially its an ideal aire with all motorhome facilities. Our BIG mistake was to be there on a Saturday when, during the evening, some youngsters arrived with their music and (loud)speakers for a party that went on and on. We tried to stick it out but eventually gave up and at 1.00am move to neighbouring Bazas aire. Be warned!
Sitecode: 25948
Stopped February 28th for one night: This site is simply superb! From the friendly, helpful English reception staff to the top rate shower/toilet facilities, to the tasty meals available in the on-site restaurant and all for only 19€ with the ACSI card.
Sitecode: 28612
Stopped for 2 nights: February 26th & 27th, super camperstop, only 20€ per night with ACSI. Very friendly, helpful English speaking reception staff. Excellent toilet/shower facilities. Plots are spacious, firm, grassed based and reasonably level. 27 bus outside the entrance takes you to Burgos for only 1.20€ per ride, but it only runs at 0945hrs, 1245hrs, 1630hrs, 1930hrs. Burgos city is special!
Sitecode: 30077
Stopped for 1 night: February 25th. A well organised camperstop, flat, firm surface, plenty of marked bays, all the motorhome facilities for a camperstop and an Auchan owned Alcampo suoermarket on 'your' doorstep - what more could you want? And its free!
Sitecode: 5362
Stopped for 1 night: February 24th. We parked on the steep, cobble surface. Well lit area and a quiet night. With the well stocked local shop only 80 metres down from the site this camperstop is idea. Message to Offagain - water is available, down at the bottom of the concrete surround is a small stopcock which turns on the supply to the tap at the top of the concrete surround.
Sitecode: 60299
Stopped for 1 night: February 23rd, this camperstop has all the facilities(twice!), it was well lit at night and very quiet, we felt quite safe and secure. We parked in the allocated spaces adjacent to the services. It had a cobble surface with a gentle slope. You will need an adaptor for the water taps as they are not 15mm size.
Sitecode: 27204
Visited February 23rd and using the Campercontact review information used the less steep entrance but once in the parking area the surface was very rough with deep ruts, pity because it is an ideal place to visit the magnificent castle and at the opposite end of the parking space the church - we moved on to the nearby Onder Cable car camperstop.
Sitecode: 11634
Stopped for 1 night: February 22nd. It was a Saturday, glorious weather and the site was rammed with far more than the '20 motorhomes', plus cars were occupying camper spots. A sloping, cobble surface, limited motorhome facilities, extremely well lit at night and felt a safe place to stay. Noise from the adjacent busy road soon abated in the evening thus it was not intrusive through the night.
Sitecode: 10830
Stopped for 1 night: February 21st. Like Chaussi we also suffered the noisy neighbouring dog at 0230hrs & 0420hrs. The camperstop is very well placed to visit Obidos. Unusually for a site like this WiFi was included in the fee, collected in the evening. The surface was firm, sandy, dusty and uneven, grassed bays are available further into the site. There is an honesty box if you miss the owner.
Sitecode: 23597
Stopped for 1 night: February 20th. Level, asphalt surface, the area felt safe and secure. 7€ per night might seem a lot but I assume it helps support the football facilities. When we stayed youngsters were having evening training sessions and appeared to be enjoying it tremendously.
Sitecode: 68245
Visited on February 20th, only one other motorhome and a few cars. Did not fancy listening to the nearby barking dogs, moved onto Sintra.
Sitecode: 41187
Stopped for 3 nights: February17th,18th & 19th. One of our favourite sights, our 5th year visiting. Everything is good about this Orbitur premises. The recently upgraded shower/toilet facilities are excellent, the reception staff have always been very friendly and helpful plus the WiFi now covers the parking plots. A bus stop to the evocative, walled city of Évora is at the site entrance.
Sitecode: 74357
Stopped for 2 nights: February 14th & 15th. With a grey water emptying grid this Camperstop would be a 10/10. A firm, level, sandy base, there is water on tap and toilet emptying + plenty of parking space. A golden beach across the road, the delightful town, a small supermarket 5' walk away or large Pingo Doce 15' walk away, and all this for only 4€ a night - fantastic!
Sitecode: 24781
Stopped 1 night; February 16th. It has all the requirements for a motorhome stopover. The asphalt surface is level. You may be put off by all the lorries and coaches parked there but we had a quiet night. The whole parking area is superbly illuminated so there are no security worries. Lidl is but a short walk away, as it the famous Grandola monument.
Sitecode: 10757
Stopped 2 nights: February 8th & 9th. There are no facilities, even the waste skip has been removed but what an excellent, free, spacious stopover, there were less than a dozen motorhomes parked up. The planes did not fly after 2200hrs., the railway only occasionally went past so we had two quiet nights. Access to the delights of Faro are a big plus for this Camperstop.
Sitecode: 6394
Stopped one night: February 8th. Even though it was a Friday the traffic on the adjacent road melted away after 2100hrs. and we had a quiet night's sleep. It has all the basic facilities. There is a small supermarket and a restaurant across the road. What's not to like?
Sitecode: 786
26/9/19: What a find! So much space, so well laid out and for only 5€ per night , amazing, why can't all local authorities do this? Plenty of coin operated electricity points + all the motorhome facilities you need; excellent!
Sitecode: 6588
25/9/19: Came here four years ago and it is still as pleasant as ever. Quiet, flat, grit based surface, all the motorhome requirements are served. The delightful town of Bückeburg is only a short stroll away.
Sitecode: 64681
No motorhome facilities, plenty of flat, tarmac parking, very little in the immediate area, but train station nearby.
Sitecode: 10460
24/9/19: Excellent stellplatz with level pitches and grit surface. Machine only takes EC cards and cash. Very quiet, next to a park, motorhome facilities at the entrance to the stellplatz, bus into Braunschweig(an interesting place) close to the entrance. We arrived at noon and it soon was full.
Sitecode: 60399
22/9/19: Two day stop at this first rate stellplatz. Marvin the operator explains everything, he gave us a map of the city, highlighting the tourist attractions, nothing was too much trouble for him. He has coin operated showers and toilets if needed. Sloping gravel pitches looking out onto a scenic lake with the city skyline beyond. Get there early as it quickly filled up during our stay.
Sitecode: 3890
18/9/19: Two day stop on this good stellplatz. The friendly, english speaking reception staff at Cityherbege, where you pay your fees and get the key to the electricity cabinet if you need 240 volts, explained the facilities available plus offered a tourist map of Dresden. Pitches a bit bumpy where tree roots have raised the tarmac but its easy to avoid them. Dresden is but a short walk away.
Sitecode: 8561
17/9/19: Only 5 marked pitches for parallel parking but more motorhomes can be accomodated if perpendicular parking is used. Tarmac with mild slope, two bollards with electicity points, only 50cents for 1 KwH. Pleasant walks along nearby river. Tram stop into centre easy to access through the shopping centre across the adjacent dual carriageway.
Sitecode: 3285
16/9/19: Pleasant stellplatz next to the Lohengrin Therme. The english speaking ladies in reception, where you pay your fee, were very helpful in explaining the facilities that were available to campers. Only 6€ per night, tarmac pitches were slightly sloping, all motorhome needs were accomodated with plenty of electric points, etc. Local bus stop next to the stellplatz for rides into Bayreuth.
Sitecode: 3314
14/9/19: Slightly sloping tarmac surface close to parks and walking areas. No facilities as such simply a convenient free stellplatz for the city of Nuremburg. Other reviews mention the proximity of the railway line, it did not cause much of a disturbance.
Sitecode: 14885
13/9/19: Superior type of stellplatz with a choice of level, tarmac or firm grass/gravel. It looked brand new, with the waste bins emptied regularly, plenty of electric points, a water point(all coin operated) and the enormous Cadolsburg Castle close by. Walk to Markplatz & visit Loisl's for the most delicious homemade ice cream, so many flavours to choose from, nearby there's a well stocked shop.
Sitecode: 81354
12/9/19: We received a friendly welcome from a young man behind the bar, he explained were we could park and that use of their toilets & showers was included in the 10€ fee. The tarmac pitches were level and once the football practice finished it was very quiet and you felt quite safe. No motorhome facilities; a small price to pay for a lovely site. A spacious Heidelburg P'n'R is 500 metres away.
Sitecode: 8849
10/9/19: What a gem this quiet stellplatz is, a friendly, helpful, english speaking owner, level firm pitches with a variety of positions, we stayed for two nights. Showers(slot machine) and toilets in good condition. The bus stop into the fascinating city of Wiesbaden is only a short walk away.
Sitecode: 15243
Get there very early as there are only ten strictly controlled pitches. Knaus prices are high for a stellplatz, I assume they are counting on the 'pull' of Koblenz as a popular tourist spot. Use of the camp site toilets is allowed but not the showers. Use the nearby ferry to cross the Mosel, its only €1.30 per trip and an experience!
Sitecode: 22319
8/9/19: Adjacent to a busy road, unlike other reviews there was plenty of parking on our visit. A tourist information board is close by as is a bus stop into the city. Minimal facilities but idea for visiting the ancient city.
Sitecode: 3981
Stayed for two nights in Sept. A lovely stellplatz with friendly, helpful people and scenic views of the Rhein. Get there early as there is a big demand for places. With the train into Koln only 8' walk away its idea for visiting the city. Walk across the train's footbridge, take 2nd left and there is a well stocked Rewe only 15' away. Services are in the car park at the stellplatz entrance.
Sitecode: 51305
20/6/19; The historic town of Richelieu is only a 5 minute walk away from this quiet, wallside parking area. Apart from waste bins there are no services. Another UK couple said they'd had a peaceful overnight stay and felt quite safe.
Sitecode: 25075
17/6/19; Very pretty and well kept aire adjacent to the D763 but unfortunately it does not have any level areas - we moved on.
Sitecode: 2160
27/6/19: there is not a lot that can be added to the previous reviews about this lovely aire. Fair enough when the wind howls dust swirls everywhere but its only 7€ for a night's stop! I think this is excellent value considering what is on your door step.
Sitecode: 23306
26/6/19: Parking by the marina on Quai Sadi Carnot is now forbidden and you have to park on the designated aire across the D925. Some areas of the aire are flat, smooth concrete others are rough gravel. As previous reviewers have stated it is ideally situated for the town, beach and harbour but it has a run down feel about it. We had a quiet night, the adjacent train stop did not disturb us.
Sitecode: 24615
Its a slightly bumpy and not very level field next to the picturesque Loire. On our stay 6 MHs were comfortably parked. There are only skips for rubbish. Beware if approaching from the west, the lane off the main road is at a far too acute angle for a MH turning circle, turn right opposite the junction, turn around and then the approach to the aire is straight forward.
Sitecode: 11625
22/6/19 – Spacious aire consisting of two adjacent but separated by a fence, level, gravelled areas. All MH facilities are available but the approach to the first area is through a narrow chicane – drive slowly!
Sitecode: 1561
23/6/19 – Attractive aire but full at 1400hrs, we moved on!
Sitecode: 2610
23/6/19 – Small aire, at the end of a steep lane by a school, also used as a car park. Area too narrow for MH parking, beware the over hanging trees, we moved on.
Sitecode: 8687
24/6/19 – Delightful, spacious aire, choose either a gravel or grassed area, pretty lake adjacent, all services available.
Sitecode: 15895
17/6/19 - Under going renovation, workers vans occupying parking berths, WC in a poor condition – we moved on.
Sitecode: 24405
17/6/19 – dust but firm surface level in places. Next to picturesque R. Loire. Day noise from the adjacent road but quiet at night. There is a water tap aside the toilets next to aire entrance.
Sitecode: 14681
16/6/19 – dubbed one of France's prettiest villages is only a few minutes walk uphill from the aire. Aire has a flat hard surface with no delineated pitches. 5€ overnight fee paid via cash or card into a terminal. No water or WC only waste and recycling skips.
Sitecode: 1198
12/6/19 – Large level firm pitches delineated by hedging, all motorhome facilities are centrally placed, very quiet at night. Famous collection of menhirs called Alignement de Lagatjar across the road. Town 10' walk downhill.
Sitecode: 1172
10/6/19 – A quiet aire with River Guindy alongside, no facilities other than a skip for waste.
Sitecode: 1182
9/6/19 – Excellent aire with level, well spaced tarmac pitches. Beautiful beach and the sea virtually next door. Night time illumination, very peaceful.
Sitecode: 21216
8/6/19 – well organised large capacity Park n Ride with a level tarmac surface. The 7.50€ parking fee incorporates a return bus trip to the centre of St.-Malo, just show the bus driver your P'n'R entry ticket. Bus stop only 100 m. away. All the motorhome services are conveniently placed on the road adjacent to the P'n'R. It was well light & quiet at night time and felt secure.
Sitecode: 118
5/6/19: Lovely quiet aire adjacent to the peaceful village with an varied selection of food shops, plus an Intermarche on the village outskirts.
Sitecode: 10323
4/6/19: All change since our 2015 stay, a straightforward barrier entry system has been installed, plus there are now many more solid based pitches, all delineated, reasonably level and each a good size. Barrier system means no more morning visits from the bread van.
Sitecode: 1151
4/6/19; New electricity bollards have been installed on the west parking area, no more scrabbling to find an unused electricity socket - Honfleur town as delightful as ever. Still only 11€ to stay overnight in the aire.
Sitecode: 19330
31/5/19: A peaceful aire outside a camp site with level, solid pitches. The River Somme runs by and there are a series of lakes/pools adjacent. The 5€ fee allows you use of the camp site's toilets but not their showers. To stay in the camp site with showers, electricity and toilets it is 11€ per night.
Sitecode: 68001
30/5/19:Peaceful and pleasant site next to a series of attractive lakes each with paths around. The site is level with a tarmac surface leading to three grass pitches. The site has excellent illumination adding to a sense of security. When we stayed thanks to careful and considerate parking 12 motorhomes camped overnight even though there are only 6 indicated spaces. Carrefour is across the road.
Sitecode: 10754
Tried to stay in February around lunch time, totally full of cars! We moved on!
Sitecode: 2160
One of our favourite French aires. We stayed overnight on March 3rd and endured the effects of Storm Freya - talk about 'Shake, Rattle & Roll'! Only 20 or so motorhomes present compared to the normal 'Full House'. Still only 7€, good value.
Sitecode: 14081
Only two designated motorhome parking bays on this quiet, sloping, free aire but spaces in the 'car' part of the car park were being used by motorhomes. Its two minutes walk to the shops, we stayed overnight on March 2nd and there was a small local market on the Sunday morning.
Sitecode: 13909
Quiet, free aire. We stayed on March 1st and had a choice of tarmac area or the grassed, hedged bays. The adjacent municipal campsite was closed for the winter but the quality nearby swimming pool was open. The bustling centre is but a short walk away and on the edge of town there is a large Super U which also has fuel and an AdBlue pump just slightly away from the fuel pumps.
Sitecode: 58749
Level, gravel surface. The local commune offers free Wi-Fi on this aire. We stayed in February so the water was off. A quiet site with little or no disturbance from the adjacent local road.
Sitecode: 189
Another hidden French gem. Next to a park which is alongside the crystal clear R. Charente. For only 2€ per night(collected) you get this peaceful setting & electricity. Potable and non-potable water were freely available. The picturesque village and its visually dominant chateau is only a short walk away - all the shopping needs are there. The aire is also a car park for visitors to the park.
Sitecode: 25192
Stopped in February, flat, level tarmac surface, the water, potable and non-potable were both available, a very quiet aire. A local told us the village shop was no longer opening.
Sitecode: 29884
A one night stop over in February, only one other van present. Rough, uneven sandy based surface, the water was turned off but a very quiet and peaceful night, the adjacent municipal camp site looks abandoned.
Sitecode: 11887
Stopped over a February weekend. Even though motorhomers were regularly arriving there were sufficient spaces for all. A 1.45€ ticket from the nearly tram stop takes you into this fascinating city. Large supermarket across the boulevard and artisan bakery next to the aire.
Sitecode: 6380
We stayed the day after Wixie 79 and experienced the early morning disturbances from the adjacent refuse compound he refers to. Arrive early it soon fills up.
Sitecode: 53819
Agree with madila's review. We came for a night in February and stopped for a week! The random parking layout just added to the appeal, you might need a long cable to reach some of the supply boxes. Shower block was kept immaculately clean, lots of hot water. Reception and eatery staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Beach, town & Pingo Doce only a ten minute walk away. A real gem.
Sitecode: 74357
Perfect level, location for the beach across the road. Water and toilet facilities available. You can now park over night for 4€, or 2€ for all day. All the profits go to support the local football club. Shops and centre a short walk away.
Sitecode: 64039
A peaceful, safe site, lots of shopping close by and Évora is not too far away.
Sitecode: 10757
We stayed for two nights in February on this free parking space, there are waste/recycling bins nearby. As a parking space it was used by cars as well as motorhomes. Parallel or perpendicular parking was employed. It is situated beneath the nearby airport flight path but the flights seemed to stop at 2200 hrs. It is ideal for exploring Faro. The tourist office is not far away.
Sitecode: 11487
We stayed for two nights in February. A quality site with excellent amenities with very helpful and friendly reception staff. A well stocked Intermarche( & fuel station) is only a short walk away. Castro Verde centre is close by, take time to visit the fascinating Museum of Oil Lamps!
Sitecode: 47717
We stayed in February - what a find! This site was so quiet and peaceful with scenic walks around the nearby waters. The reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, even coming along to help us plug into their electricity supply. At that time there were only a couple of other motorhomes on site but the first class shower/toilet block was still fully functioning.
Sitecode: 10755
Stayed for two nights in February. An excellent aire that is ideally placed for visiting this fascinating city with is nearby castle ruins and the many historic buildings within its environs.
Sitecode: 2160
Visited on16/09/18, always a pleasure to visit this popular aire and still only 7€ per night. The regular patrols by the French police add to a feeling of security plus the delightful town of Le Crotoy is only a short walk away.
Sitecode: 1320
Stayed on 15/09/18, the weekend of the local French Poney (their spelling!) club's gymkhana. Fascinating to watch the preparation needed for this particular activity. This is a lovely spacious aire, the ground is mainly level and the town is only a short walk away.
Sitecode: 14227
Stopped on 13/09/18. The aire has the basic facilities required for a motorhome. The village has all the shops you would expect to find in a small French village, plus a museum of agriculture. It is a scenic setting for an aire with the lake next door.
Sitecode: 22831
Visited on 11/09/18. A firm, sandy surface with delineated bays, there were recycling bins but no other facilities. Idea for exploring the nearby expansive beaches, just walk to the end of the adjacent car parking area and there is a sign-posted route to the beach, this is the only way to access the beach from this area. Some noise from the nearby airport.
Sitecode: 62881
Stayed for two days, 11/09/18. This camp site is a real hidden gem. Super shower/toilet block facilities, tennis courts(racquets & balls available), table tennis(bats, balls available), cycles for hire at reasonable rates. Île de Saint Cado and pretty beaches are only a short walk away. The multi-lingual reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Aldi Belz 1.2 km away.
Sitecode: 1200
Stayed over two days, 9/09/18, this enabled us to explore the delights of Concarneau and its fascinating walled town. Its a popular aire but as motorhomes are coming and going you can always find a space to park on. Its got a level and flat surface. A 15 minute walk takes you down into Concarneau. There are pizza places and cafés close to the aire.
Sitecode: 25923
Stopped on 8/09/18. Large aire with plenty of unmarked spaces, across the road is a path down to the bay. The 4€ fee is collected in the evening by a local Marie official and a receipt given. We had a pleasant, quiet evening there, because of its proximity to Penmarc'h and its environs its an idea stopping place.
Sitecode: 1193
Stayed on 5/09/18. Card payment only. 7.20€ per day. There are no defined plots you just find your spot and park up. As its coastal based do not expect firm asphalt surfaces its compacted sand and there are different levels to park on some giving exquisite views of the nearby bays. It is quite an unusual aire and well worth a visit.
Sitecode: 1281
Stopped on 4/09/18. There is not much to commend this aire. The sandy ground is very bumpy and hence not level. For the daily 10€ fee electricity is included. A notice stated that the adjacent creperie had been shut down for environmental reasons! It was peaceful enough but not worth a return visit. About a mile away in Santec there is a medium sized and well stocked Proxi supermarket.
Sitecode: 1172
Stayed overnight on 3/09/18. A quiet and peaceful setting alongside the tidal Le Guindy. Suggest you arrive early, by 1800 hours it was full. The borne at the aire's entrance has been removed so apart from the parking the only facility is a large rubbish skip. It's worth the short walk up the hill to view the La Cathédrale Saint-Tugdual and its adjacent square, halfway up the hill is a shop.
Sitecode: 1182
Stopped for two days - 1/09/18. This recently updated aire is a true gem. Large plots on a flat and level asphalt surfaces next to a glorious beach for only 8.90€ a night is superb value. The sea is warm to boot!
Sitecode: 13681
Stopped here on 30/08/18. A firm asphalt, if slightly sloping surface, there is an overspill motorhome parking area above the main car park. A quiet, peaceful aire. The fascinating Souterroscope des Ardoisières old slate mine next door is a stunning experience and well worth a visit.
Sitecode: 14076
Visited on 29/08/18. A superb aire with a dozen or so hedged bays, their surfaces are billiard table flat! Walk 5 minutes and you in the centre of Cormelles, a vibrant town complete with a Tourist Office and its multi-lingual, helpful staff. Take time to visit St. Croix church with its unique 9% sloping floor!
Sitecode: 14047
Stopped overnight on 28/08/18, perfectly adequate overnight stop, ground firm but not too level, beware the large, low lying rock at the site entrance as you are leaving.
Sitecode: 6918
A tidy stellplätze in not the most salubrious location. It is in a working district so expect some day time noise. Ideally placed for visiting the famous city and looking for the Pied Piper!
Sitecode: 8737
A simple stop-over with no facilities other than large plastic litter bags. The adjacent main road[46] does not create too much noise over night. Next to the neighbouring football pitch there is an Aldi, just walk along the 46 pavement. It is a good parking spot for the Wuppertal Schwebebahn, the Sonnborn station is close by.
Sitecode: 612
An enormous stop-over area, very peaceful through the night.
Sitecode: 27116
You pay a lot[16€ per 24 hours] for what is basically parking. There are no facilities, electricity is a coin operated extra, but what you are getting for your expensive fee is close proximity to the town centre. Lidl is literally across the road. There are only ten dedicated parking slots so get there early. The payment machine would not accept credit card payment even though it had that facility.
Sitecode: 23792
Basic quiet stopover.
Sitecode: 12091
What a hidden gem this stellplätze is, so peaceful and quiet. The cassette emptying are basic but functional! The staff in the information were very helpful and friendly.
Sitecode: 54133
I cannot improve on Janie-H succinct review. It was quite tranquil watching the various boats[of all shapes and sizes] cruise up and down the Unterwarnow, we had a very peaceful night.
Sitecode: 3656
A quiet stellplätze with picturesque views of the marina. Very friendly staff showed us the location of the showers, toilets and the cassette emptying area. Reasonable priced meals were available in the bistro with a bread ordering service for the following morning. With electricity included in the 14€ per night fee I thought it was excellent value - well worth a visit.
Sitecode: 15197
The P4 stellplätze is just for parking, there are no facilities, in the adjacent car park there are small waste bins. Its main plus point is its close proximity to the fascinating city of Lübeck with its Doms and marzipan! P4 cost 6€ from 1000hrs. to 1800hrs. and free overnight to 1000hrs. A Sky supermarket is 800 yards away, just cross the adjacent road/canal/railway bridge & turn right.
Sitecode: 50970
As we were only stopping for 1 night reception offered us a plot on their stellplätze for 12.50€[electricity was included]. This was an excellent option, the electric points and water taps were close by each plot. The Baltic coast and beach was only a short walk away. The nearby restaurant served a selection of reasonably prices meals. If visiting Fehmarn try this stellplätze you'll be pleased.
Sitecode: 3580
A top quality stellplätze, it is difficult to find any faults with it. The toilet/shower facilities are superb as are the views to the harbour. The only downside is that it is so popular you may find difficulty in finding a parking plot. We arrived at noon and there were only five spaces left. Schleswig's centre and shopping is only a short walk away. This is a stellplätze to visit!
Sitecode: 19116
Super stellplätze with a picturesque and quiet location, and amazing value at only 8€ per night, 10€ if you need electricity. The shower/toilet block is first class. An attendant comes around and collects your nightly fee.

A basic camperstop with no facilities other than lots of parking space. It is ideal for a Gasometer visit and the enormous Centre O shopping complex is only a short walk away. A peaceful night despite the adjacent railway.

We stayed on February 24th 2018, what an excellent site, plenty of spacious pitches, a bus stop close by and a short walk to the tram plus an delightful bakery across the road.
Sitecode: 22431
BEWARE, the expiry of your 5€ fee is clearly stated on the ticket, it is not for 24 hour parking. Free overnight parking is allowed. The parking wardens are particularly vigilant they come on duty about 0900hrs. Sadly we chose to stay when there was a dog show on the next day, so we had to put up with idiot dog owners letting their mutts bark and yap well past midnight. We will not return!

Stayed on March 4th 2018. This aire sets the standard! Everything is excellent plus the bonus a LeClerc in walking distance.
Sitecode: 1528
Stayed on March 2nd 2018. Arrived at noon, empty bar 1 motorhome. Water point and WC emptying facilities looked brand new. Left to visit LeClerc, back at 1700hrs and it was full. It was being used as a car park for the Le Boulodrome across the road despite the fact they have their own large adjacent car park. Waited for the owners to finish in Le Boulodrome and drive their cars away. Quiet night.

We visited on March 1st, there were only five other Motorhomes. The barrier was permanently in the up position. As it was the winter season there was no parking fee and the water was turned off. The delightful city of Périgueux is but a short walk alongside the River Isle. There is a bus stop close to the aire's entrance.
Sitecode: 2593
Quiet, reasonably spacious, half grass, half gravel. The village is only 100 metres along the adjacent road. It contains a few shops. A LeClerc is less than one mile along the D927 in an easterly direction. The gravel area was used as a car park for the Jean Moulin Espace next door and it was noisy as the users departed around Saturday midnight. The rest of the time the aire was quite serene.

This site has all the amenities you could wish for, plus outstanding views over the valley. Its excellent value for only 12.50€ per night including EHU and WiFi. Each parking space has its own services.

Vila Velha de Ródao, south of Castelo Branco, on the River Tejo(Tagus). It is a short walk down to the river, here there is a famous Gorge known for sightings of Vultures, Owls, Eagles. Nearby a dig unearthed settlement remains from about 30,000 years ago. An info board said the last elephants in Europe died around here

The lady owner of the Área de Servico(5€ per night, 3€ extra for electricity) also owned the shop opposite. 'Shop' does not do her emporium justice. Armazén ZáZá sold everything from a wheelbarrow to a washing machine – I am not a shopper but this place was something else – she even had full sized copper still should you wish to brew your own Poteen!

A quiet, free Camperstop. Could not find any facilities. It main use seemed to be a mini Park 'n' Ride for the local people. After 1800 hours the couple of cars parked had gone.

WendyOgden's advice about the low bridge was well heeded. A pleasant lakeside stop with a friendly lady on reception. The shower/toilet facilites were fine. A brisk 500 metre walk takes you into the town centre replete with a selection of shops and a very well stocked supermarket but watch out you may walk straight past it. 200SEK(£18.63) with electricity included for one night was a fair price.

A quiet site, difficult to find down narrow lanes. Only 150SEK(£14.04) per night, electricity included. A Hjalmare Canal operative comes along with his card reader(cash not accepted) in the evening to collect the fee. The adjacent restaurant was closed the September night we stayed but was due to open later on in the week. A canal lover's delight - a lift bridge & a triple staircase set of locks!

One night's stop 180SEK(£16.88)in Sept.2017, only 7 motorhomes. Payment machine in doorway of the nearby reddish/brown building. Credit card in, vehicle registation number in, parking permit & shower entry code out - so easy! The showers, etc. facilities have to be seen to be believed, so up-market! Well stocked Coop shop only 400 metres walk away, along with a selection of shops, restaurants.

An ideal stop for the nearby Frederikshavn ferry terminal. The automated payment machine seemed full proof until I tried to get my Marina card deposit back in the morning when it would not function. We did not use their showers only their electric and ended up being charged 250DKK(£29.81) for one night. Beware automated machines do not respond to questions(in any language!)

We stopped for one night in September 2017, Only two other motorhomes but we felt safe and secure. The wind & waves from the nearby sea added to its appeal. Other than waste bins we didn't spot any facilities. Put your credit card in the pay machine when you arrive, ditto for leaving & a printed receipt shows the hours you've parked + your charges. 17 hours cost 23DKK(a massive £2.79!)

This camperstop is a real gem! This site displays the beauty of using the Camperstop Europe book or Campercontact's app. as you come across delightful places like this. Run by Lars & Ellis who also own a motorhome. We had a very pleasant chat with them during the evening, telling us about the various European countries they had visited in their motorhome. For only 50DKK its a place you must visit.

Picturesque site adjacent to the Dortmunds-Elms canal. Flat, grass pitches where you find a pitch and pay at the reception cabin from 1800 hours onwards. The lady in reception is multilingual & very helpful. The marina's restaurant serves a varied menu at reasonable prices. The marina a shower/toilet facilites can be used by the motorhomers but you have to pay for the showers. A lovely stellplatz.

18€ per night (September 2017), the site looks a bit rough and ready but it was secure enough. There were several large motorhomes stopping so if they felt secure then that was good enough for me. Site entrance very difficult to locate from the adjacent one-way system plus the signage to the site is very poor. Minimal facilities - spotted a water tap and some refuse bins.
Sitecode: 15196
A free camperstop next to a swimming pool/community centre. The peaceful setting was spoilt by noisy locals during the evening.
Sitecode: 1653
Peaceful aire with the village centre only a short walk away. The shower and toilet facilities have been removed but the cold water supply is still where the showers used to be. Electricity is available just flick the switch inside the building that houses the cold water tap.
Sitecode: 42824
The centuries-old 'pitite Cite de Caractere' has been demolished and new facilities installed. The lorries rumbling along the adjacent D309 can be noisy but not enough to disturb your sleep - a pleasant aire close to the centre of Parce sur Sarthe.
Sitecode: 30274
Unique! I know it is an over used word but it is the only way to describe Mikki's Place. I think every motor homer should try and visit if they are ever in this part of southern Portugal. One day is not long enough to sample the atmosphere. The community meals are something to experience plus the quality of the home cooked food is superb; go ahead, try it!
Sitecode: 22431
An agreeable aire close to the city. You need a ticket from the ticket office or use the ticket machine. The ticket office operatives were very friendly. Quiet at night.

Ideal stopping place for the Santander Ferry, spacious and very quiet when we stayed in March 2017 and its free!

Quiet aire near Camping du Pont d'Orne and just off D47. Montbizot is less than a kilometre away for all your shopping needs.
