Quiet campsite near forest and river (Elbe). Nice new and clean toilet, shower building and kitchen (first floor) and relaxation area. Friendly owners who speak good English. Great cycling along the Elbe or walking to the source (1000 m), back with the chairlift. 10 min walk to center of Spindle.

Campsite with older permanent pitches, but also a nice field (slightly sloping) for campers. Near a river and you walk directly into the extensive forest with many hiking trails (up to approx. 1000 m). Very nice new (2023) toilet areas. Nice owners who speak good English. Near the center of the small village of Mostrava with supermarket and some restaurants. Great place to walk or cycle for a few days.

We were here 7/31 to 8/8/2020. A very nice campsite, in a nature park near Gauja river. Hilly on a beautiful lake. Nice owners, speak German and some English. Good sanitary facilities and washing machine. Canoeing went fine, first by bus in 15 minutes to Cesis on the Gauja. Free wood, every place a barbecue and fireplace. Friday evening nice music performance from the lake.

We were here 29-30 / 7-2020. Camper location in a new-build area, close to the center, across the river, approx. 15 minutes by bike. Well attended, even this season. Sanitary reasonable, in a container nearby and in the building at 100 m. Good surveillance of the site.

We were here 7/27/2020. Large empty field next to the Latvian Forest Service building. Very helpful people, free laundry and coffee in the main building. Sanitary good in a separate building. Small lake, water unfortunately dirty and green. Cycling to Luban's 'lake' (no water, but swamp) a disaster. 15 km (2x) on bad gravel roads. Interesting experience in poor part of Latvia.

We were here 7/24/2020. Camping, near a beautiful lake, with many houses. Reasonable sanitary facilities. Quite busy even this season. We stood next to the watchtower, with noise pollution. A party nearby at night also caused a lot of noise. Windsurfing ok, but hardly any space along the shore.

We were here 22 / 23-7-2020. A beautiful park-like campsite with a pond and a very well-maintained garden. Good toilet, shower. Separate room for the guests where owner Wim is happy to give advice about what to see in the area. Cycling to Trakai is possible.

We were here 7/21/2020. Large campsite on a beautiful lake, hardly any other guests. Toilet reasonable, separate key is required for shower. Good windsurfing spot, shallow up to 50 m from the shore.

We were here 7/19/2020. Spacious park-like campsite with good facilities. 5 min walk from the Nemuna river, with a small beach, where you can swim reasonably well.

Very busy campsite, the only one in Nida, with many tents and quite noisy Lithuanians. Little space for campers, but available spots are nicely situated between the trees. Good beach 1 km. Excellent cycling in the beautiful surroundings (dunes, house Thomas Mann, cormorant colony) on real cycle paths, a big exception in Lithuania.
