If you are a dog lover don't come here! Late last night the owner was out with a 10foot bar chasing around with a couple of other men after two really friendly and benign dogs that lay around the camp during the day. They had closed the gates so they weren't trying to chase them out. One of the dogs returned to the camp today with the most horrendous 10 inch wound to its head caked in dried blood. Both dogs are lame. Inhumane treatment.

Good location for the beach. Very safe cycling on path with wall separating you from the traffic. Easy access for large motorhomes. Site facilities are exceptionally clean and appear new. Motorhome service point is double width and very easy to access. Kiosk open where you can order bread and croissant for the morning. Sells ice creams, cold beer, wine and few basics. People running the site are really friendly and welcoming.

What a shame we couldn't get in because looked a nice spot. Machine went through all the options to book but then regected each of my cards. Place was empty.

You have to leave this site by 10am the following morning or you are charged a further 15 Euro which means we paid 30 euros for less than 24 hours. It was quite busy and of course everyone is trying to use the service point before 10. To be fair they did tell us about the charging policy when we arrived. Other than the cost, a decent stopover. Well worth walking down to the village.

Great well kept camper spot right on the river which is good for swimming. This year have added building containing spacious shower and toilet, dishwashing sink, washed and dryer for free use. Further two toilets, all kept very clean. Good electric hook up and wifi. Chemical toilet emptying point, drinking water and easily accessible drive over grey water drain. Lovely bar serving good simple food. Mini supermarket 10 minutes walk away. For the children a playground with trampoline, football pitch and volleyball court. Lots of space, a large meadow ideal for dog walking. Possibility to park undercover. Exceptionally friendly owners and bar staff, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were going to stay for two days but ended up staying for 10 as was so relaxing. Would definitely return.

Absolutely stunning location right beside beautiful Lake Peruka. The Guardian newspaper listed Lake Peruka, in an article of 29/06/2019, as one of the 20 best lakes to visit in Europe and included a link to this newly opened campsite. Private beach on the lake which slopes down into the water making it easy to get into for swimming in crystal clear water. The campsite is easy to get to from the D1. Straightforward self check in system so you can arrive at any time, cash only, Kunas or Euros. Electric and water on the hard-standing area. Simple, clean, toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities. Dog friendly. Highly recommended. We were initially going to stay for two nights, saw the place and immediately upped that to four and are now going to extend to six! Not many places around like this!

Lovely site right on the shore. Site has now been terraced making for a view from most pitches. Electric and water throughout the site. Clean toilets and showers, chemical toilet emptying point and drive over drain for grey water. Friendly welcome from reception. Was shown a choice of pitches. English spoken. Cash payment Kuna or Euro, no cards. Excellent place for dogs with a small beach at each end of the campsite. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stopover spot. Friendly people, fast wifi, everywhere really neat and well looked after. Showers were extra 2.5 euros but worth every bit of it. Your own immaculate bathroom complete with hairdryer. Did laundry for 3 euros a load. Nice little bar on site. A place to walk the dog. Great place to stop.

I wonder if this is just a seasonal thing because when we went there today there were no signs and we got the district impression by the way people looked at the van that it wasn't normal for camping cars to be there. We followed our instinct if it doesn't feel right move on.

Ok, so it might just be a car park but having parked up take a stroll 5 minutes down to the lake. A really lovely setting on the lake, several restaurants. Dogs allowed on leads and we we're able to let ours have a swim. We would come here again. Lovely for a day or two. So the 7 is for being able to park so close to a lovely spot.

Lovely site with large grass pitches some of which enclosed with hedging offering your own garden! The site is kept really clean and the grounds well tended. Facilities are basic but lots of hot water and everything we needed. The beach and a nice restaurant about 50m away and local shop and bakery 5 minutes walk. The owner Alfonso is really friendly and helpful and enhanced our stay. Great value!
