There is a bus stop at the parking lot if you find it too far to walk. This will drop you off in the heart of the city. We regretted our visit to Inverness. What a horrible, meaningless city at the moment. Walking along the river was the best part of the day. But tastes differ of course :-)

Quiet place to stay, view of the sea and from the camper place you can already take a nice walk on an asphalt path. Ideal if you have a dog with you, before you travel on the next day. There are no dixies now.

Great place, we were here early, plenty of room. during the day it gets busier, because of all the people who visit the beautiful village. In the evening the peace is back. We drove over the last bridge and then on the left is a large parking lot. if you are on time, you can stand nicely on the water. free between 23:00 - 08:00.

Indeed, you can only park for 6 hours in the described place. However, overnight stays are allowed in the parking lot Hägnan on Gamla Hamngatan. This one is even more beautiful and also in the middle of the beautiful village.

Great place. We have been here for 2 nights. The place is not much, no facilities. Very quiet at night. A must is the walking route; with 1st lift to Sommerbergalm - Kaserer Scharte - Frauenwand - Tuxer Joch Haus - Weitental and finally to Hintertux. Total 15 km.
