Large, shady spots. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Nice little beach (grass or sand) by the lake. The lake does remain shallow for a very long time. Our spot with electricity costs €31 in mid-July, high season. Washing machine €5. Very nice owner.

Once you have secured a spot, this is a great place to stay for a visit to the city. Your best chance is to arrive between 8 and 9 at opening time and wait for campers to leave. On the first day, we arrived at 11:30, a lost cause. We spent the night at a parking lot in the vicinity of this spot, which many camper travelers do. Just make sure to place your parking ticket clearly visible on your windshield.

Great spot for €8.50 per night if you don't need any amenities. Close to the lift down. You are on top of the chalk cliffs, so it can always be windy.

Centrally located near the beach and the city. Green campsite, relaxed atmosphere. We arrived before 12 o'clock and there was space, as reservations are not possible. Later in the afternoon, it was full. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Do bring your own toilet paper!
