Beautiful spot! Short stretch of unpaved road uphill to get there. Picnic table and fire pit with kettle available. No other facilities. Pond where you can apparently fish for trout. Scottish Highland cattle have plenty of space, but are too shy to come close. Payment at the farm shop, 200 meters towards Arendal along road 42. Payment can also be made upon departure.

The location is situated at the Arna station. From here, you can take the train to Bergen (10 min) or in the other direction towards Voss. Train tickets are available at the vending machine at the bottom of the stairs to the platform. Payment for the stay at the parking lot is made via Easypark or the payment machine. It is very quiet at night. I slept very well for 2 nights. There are no other facilities, but it is a great spot for visiting Bergen or other locations situated along the Bergenbahn.

Great place to stay for a night. No facilities. Along the river with a beautiful view of the mountains. Apparently, campfires are allowed there too. Little noise from the road, especially at night.

Great campsite. Just a quick note about opening hours. They are open until September 13th. I heard that from the lady at reception.

I agree with the previous reviewers. Two extra points: there is a machine for emptying and cleaning the cassette toilet. It costs 20 DK. Not completely spotless, but cleaner than by hand. Unfortunately, that is also a minor downside, but the campsite can't do anything about it. Yesterday, while swimming in the sea, I discovered the jellyfish a little too late. I am still alive, but it stings and my skin turns red. Something like stinging nettles. So be careful if you go swimming!

What a lovely spot! Stayed for 2 nights, almost alone. Disposal for emptying the cassette toilet, and in the small building, a very spacious shower and toilet for both ladies and gentlemen. Dishwashing facilities and fresh water. No provision for wastewater disposal. Check in at the hotel reception and you will receive the key to the building. Slot Stolpen is located right above the camper pitch and the town is also nice. It is great to e-bike from the camper pitch to the Bastei Bridge.
