A textbook example of a beautiful and well-maintained camper site offering a high level of comfort, including new restroom facilities. Easily accessible and with an easy payment system via QR code. It's also a good base for many cycling tours using junctions. In short, highly recommended with excellent value for money.

This camper place is a textbook example of how a camper place can be realized, a well thought out layout and high quality execution. A pleasure to stay here, especially the way you are received! A point of attention: make sure you use Bio/Green toilet fluids or tabs for the toilet cassette! Excellent base for beautiful cycling tours in East Flanders and the Belgian border region. Highly recommended.

End of April 2025 we stayed 4 days with the camper at Benny and Therese with the aim of cycling part of the 'Ecopiste'. Unfortunately we did not succeed because we had not followed Benny's advice properly, in other words, take his/their advice well to heart! Despite this loss, we had 4 nice days with them and still made the necessary cycling km's. Benny and Therese, thank you for the hospitality and the nice conversations we had. Anton and Monika.

One evening before arrival we registered our camper using Translate via the Outdoor Portugal website and then after payment via e.g. Visa, you will receive a QR code on your phone with an email and you hold it up to the reader and Sesam opens the gate. The same goes for driving out. Indeed it takes some effort but it is worth it and no stress. In itself a good CP with all amenities but no WiFi! But what do you want for € 4, - / night.

In the first week of April '25, stayed for the 3rd time a week with Joop and Yvon. Where you often see a decline in quality, this remains high-quality at Alegria. It is always enjoyable at and from this Camperstop and its surroundings. Joop and Yvon, will it perhaps be a 3rd Award as best camper place? Good luck and see you soon. A & M Janssen.

I wonder if these reviews are from this campsite or from Camping Douro in Miranda do Douro in Portugal. CC: please verify and apply the correct reviews to the correct campsite. Anton Janssen

Loosterstee is just like many 'Bij Ons' CamperPlaatsen, a CP with a Soul! That is to say that nothing is too much to make its guests as pleasant as possible with good facilities, including excellent WiFi. All this is under the inspiring leadership of the enthusiastic and hospitable Gerjanne, whom we wish a successful future with 'her' CP. The beautiful surroundings with its many cycling junctions and routes also contribute to this. A. Janssen

Stayed one night at this campsite on the way home in May '24. What a friendly and creative welcome from and by Lisanne to still give us a place. We will definitely stay here on one of our future trips to Southern Europe, based on... what we experienced here, we will come back again.

In May '24 we spent a week at Camperstop Alegria for the second year in a row, which is simply experienced as 'being at home'. Nothing has been lost in quality, it only gets better and as a reward it is the BEST camper place for the 2nd time. Worth mentioning is the involvement of Joop & Yvon when campers encounter unexpected problems and can count on help from Joop and Yvon. We'll be there again.

Although a large camper place (100 places), it is not an attractive location for C-CP France. This is an unhygienic matter, especially with regard to water intake, in relation to emptying the toilet cassette. C-CP France, or the local manager, may pay more attention to this or take measures. It's crazy that feces float on the drinking water side!

In the 1st week of April '24, I stayed at this campsite for 3 days. We were also assuming approximately €17/night instead of the current €29/night all in. However, when the background to this price increase becomes clear, one can only understand and wish this young couple who now manage the campsite every success in realizing their plans. In other words, this is no longer a camper place but a campsite! A.J

Visited this campsite on April 7, '24 but it NO LONGER EXISTS. According to observations, it has been completely converted into holiday homes or chalets. Reception is closed. Campercontact remove site code 98997 from your files! Anton Janssen

In September '23 more or less forced to visit this CP, it would not have been our choice if there had been alternatives in the immediate area. For the time being, the CP is of a relatively high standard and still needs a lot of improvement. The 'Döner Imbiss' (loose from CP!) provides a good quality meal! From here there are good cycle paths around Lübbenau and surrounding areas. (the 'German Giethoorn') and buy Spreewalder Gurken.

However, at the end of August '23, I visited this CP after having seen a few things and turned around and left again. In our experience, an unkempt and therefore unattractive CP. In addition, a busy / messy environment was observed. Too bad, because from here Schwerin, including visiting the Schloss and cycling the 'Blue Acht', is ideal.

Excellent location to visit Dessau-Rosslau, Würlitz and (Schloss) Oranienbaum by bike, as well as to cycle large parts of the 'Elberadweg'. Good and easily accessible electrical and drainage facilities. 'All in' for only €11/night in September '23! Experience after 6 nights: After approximately 4 p.m., all 8 places are occupied every day!

Coincidentally spoke to the owner of this CP in August '23, this CP has NOT existed for 2.5 years. Therefore, remove this location from the Campercontact data!!

The review of July 3, '23 is NOT realistic! CP Lookerland is an excellent CP with good facilities such as modern and clean sanitary facilities, very good WiFi reception, an extremely easy check-in and check-out display with a fair electricity bill. In short, a CP with the right price-quality ratio. Enjoyed being a guest of Kristel for a full week with the Twente beauty and hospitality! Very recommendable.

We endorse all previously written reviews about Alegria. What we would like to add is that Joop and Yvon have realized a camper stop without harming nature and the environment. The layout and implementation of their CP are in harmony with the original environment. We were guests at J&Y for 14 days in April, who provided us with all possible tips and advice to get to know Extremadura well. Fantastic, thanks for that.

It should be added to all the positive reviews that there is now a means of transport available to comfortably transport the full toilet cassette (+/- 21 kg) to the discharge location. This hospitable CP is an excellent base for major bicycle tours in the Veluwe, to the IJssel and cities such as Apeldoorn, Deventer and Zutphen. We wish the friendly family much success in the further development of their CP, we will come back anyway.

This is such a campsite where you immediately feel at home, a spontaneous welcome with a casual atmosphere during your stay at the campsite. Great base for beautiful bike tours at junctions, even in Belgium and then enjoy the beef available here when you return home, that too is enjoying! This week in October 2019, will definitely be repeated again. Unfortunately no WiFi available.

Have stayed here for 5 nights mid May 2018. An absolutely recommendable campsite. There is always something to note but the approach of the Dutch owners make you feel at home here. Extremely nice are the advice how and where you can cycle, despite some sturdy climbs but with electric support to do well, including the route to the dam, ca. 50 km vv.

An absolutely nice and quiet campsite with separate camper location. Extremely friendly and spontaneous owners with a heart for their camping and their guests. In addition, it is a good base for doing long cycle trips on Voorne Putten on good and often car-free or bad roads. We enjoyed everything during our 5 day stay.

Indeed an unattractive CP. Prices are apparently recently changed: campers to 8m length: € 6.00 per night, more than 8m: € 10.00. Continue to the CP in Waldeck, Am Bettenhagen 1, actually overlooking the Edersee, is a better alternative. Incidentally strange that this 'CP' is not listed in the ACSI guide 2015!
