drove past this aire on Friday 21/4/22 and there were 5 vans parked up. obviously now open again for summer.

well done Torridge Council. at the very end of car park there is a new area that appears to have recently painted bays 10 of them are longer than normal looks like it’s intended for Motorhome’s.

quiet Car Park ideally located to explore Holsworthy. levelling ramps needed. price now £8 a night 6pm-10am.

lovely spot on river bank. please make sure you use the honesty box. I was speaking to a local who told me that the money goes back into community including two defibrillators and Xmas party for OAPs. please use the box.

Quiet (other than wind) saw mill stopped at 6pm. would recommend Wee Hurrie’s fish and chip shop onl 3 mins walk away. lovely views.

Overnight stays have now been stopped at this location. you can still park here between 8am and 10pm. The council have told me that they hope to open a site near by in 2021. You can stop over night in the Maer Road car park (near lifeboat station)

Stopped for one night 1/1/20 a we were about to leave a parking attendant was checking vehicles he asked how much we had paid and checked against his computer - we had paid the full £11. He said a lot of vans were only paying the car price £3 and in future parking tickets will be issued. He was just warning people today. You have been warned.

Spent a pleasant night here. We enter whilst barriers were still down but if you press the lost ticket button when you want to leave the next day you still only pay €4.50. Castle. Is worth visiting

Spent a pleasant night here in the larger parking area behind the viewing point. Good views and very quiet- except for the wind.

As others have said what a wonderful site at a reasonable cost. Friendly welcome and everywhere was clean and tidy. Treated ourselves to a very tasty and hearty breakfast.

Spent a very pleasant afternoon and night here. Very nice town and coastal walks. There is a calor gas supplier by this CP that also sells auto gas if you need refilling.

Visited yesterday intending to stay for a night. Bar/campsite was shut with notice on door saying “Shut for winter open next summer”

I wish more councils (especially in the UK) provided Aires like this. Wonderful views and easy access to town. Aire was very clean with excellent facilities. €10 including EHU very reasonable, quiet at night. We ate in the bar at the Bantry Bay Hotel and could not fault the food.

Parked here to visit town after spending night at Charles Fort. Very convenient for the Town which I would recommend visiting. Would have no problem stopping for the night.

Spent two nights here. Nice views (between rain showers) good train link to Cork and Cobh town is worth visiting. Sight was quiet at night.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting Waterford. Very convenient to walk round the town. Well lit, quiet and felt safe at night. Bays were small and could not not fit our 7 mt in one bay. Found a couple of lager bays parallel to river.

Spent the night here after coming across on the afternoon ferry from UK. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful felt safe and would use again. Only 8 stars since no facilities at all.

A good place to stop to visit Cadiz. We cycled into town twice along the promenade so it was quite safe. we spent two nights here, yes there was some road noise but not horrendous. We parked on the beach road about 100mts along from the main car park, no slope and easier with a slightly longer van.

Stayed for 1 night in order to visit thee bridge and old town. Easy cycle ride from site, good waste facilities, some road noise but manageable.

Good site, well placed for easy bus ride into centre (bus stop by entrance), Good facilities plenty of hot water and powerful showers. When we booked in February we could not book tickets for Alhambra on the internet but the campsite were able to for us.

As every one else has said this site is very expensive ,but well located and a nice sight, good showers and plenty of hot water Nice cycle ride into the centre to visit the Mezquita .

What lovely place, tranquil with good views. Staff were very friendly. An ideal place especially if you like nature walks and bird watching. Car park reasonably busy during the day but at night we were the only vehicle there but felt safe. No facilities but there are toilets in the visitor centre during opening hours.

Stayed for nights, very quiet with no problems. Ideally placed for visiting Exmouth. Lovely views across estuary. We did have a problem using the parking app it would not let me book our second day until an hour after the first day had expired. On the plus side it only charged us £3.20 a day since it was winter rates. No facilities but will use this site again.

A very nice sight, good facilities and beautiful beach, sea more suited to surfers than swimming!. Spent two nights here recharging van and bodies before continuing to Santander and the ferry home.

Used this for an overnight stop whilst travelling south. Very quiet and pleasant.

Good free parking spot, found chemical emptying point behind the small toilet block, it said it was for the boat owners. Bird observatory was expensive but a good selection of wildlife.

Ideally placed for visiting Bordeaux, good public transport links. Staff very helpful.

Pitches are small but a great location ideal for walking into town. Quiet at night.

A good spot for a stopover for a night, good views and quiet. Police drove past and did not stop. There are toilets but these are attached to the café and are kept locked, café customers have to ask for key.

Excellent site, nice size pitches and good clean facilities. Found the site to be quiet and peaceful. Reception very helpful and an easy bike ride to the seafront. Would come here again.

Lovely quiet place. Nice place to relax after a few hectic days in Valencia. However getting more popular, there were 22 vans last night. Police drove round but no problems.

Good for an overnight stop. Handy for supermarket and fuel. We were not disturbed by noise or smells!

An excellent campsite for visiting Lisbon. We found staff really friendly and helpful. Some reviews mentioned that this site was in a "bad" area. We saw no evidence of this and felt quite safe walking back from the bus stop in the evening when dark. Busses were quite frequent and never took more 45 mins to get to the centre.
