Sinds dat we met pensioen zijn gaan we regelmatig op reis met eerst onze caravan, maar nu al 2 jaar met onze camper. Daarbij staan we afwisselend op camperplekken en campings.

This campsite has a fantastic location. A mecca for hiking enthusiasts. Beautiful, spacious pitches. Excellent sanitary facilities, especially in the new building. Friendly welcome. CafΓ© and bar on the campsite, 2 great pubs nearby, and also a small shop (not open every day). Please note: the last stretch of road to Edale is narrow from both directions. Large caravan combinations and motorhomes require considerable experience to make the job.

What a gem this is. Friendly welcome with plenty of explanation. Beautiful and spacious pitches. Sanitary facilities that are hotel-worthy and spotlessly clean. Beautifully landscaped grounds with a stunning fishing pond in the middle. The bus to York stops right outside the door. We paid Β£47.50 per night (price includes Β£3 per 24 hours). Of course, it is quite pricey, but it is more than worth it.

Large campsite, but you don't notice it thanks to the good layout. Spacious pitches, choice of hardstanding or grass. Beautiful and spacious clean sanitary facilities. Lovely hot water. Friendly welcome. A campsite shop is available, as well as a restaurant. Bamburgh Castle is within cycling distance, but it is quite a steep climb to the campsite. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Edinburgh. Friendly welcome and clear explanation. Nice, spacious pitches and excellent, clean sanitary facilities. The bus to Edinburgh is a 5-minute walk away, and for Β£6 per person you get a day pass valid for all public transport in Edinburgh. This campsite is highly recommended.

Simon welcomes you warmly and shows you to your pitch. Beautiful, spacious pitches, and if you're lucky, right by the Loch. The sanitary facilities are clean and everything works. There is a food truck on the campsite serving delicious hamburgers and a superb English breakfast in the morning. Inverness is within cycling distance (6 km). We paid Β£33.

A fine campsite with beautiful, spacious hardstanding pitches, mostly with a sea view. Friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean but limited and basic. Lidl supermarket within walking distance. We paid Β£33.

This campsite is situated in a beautiful location. If you are lucky, you are pitched right on the edge of the cliff overlooking the bay. The welcome is super friendly, and the sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. There is a great supermarket and a pub. You can order pizzas there, and a fish and chips cart comes by a few times a week. It is absolutely fantastic here. We paid β¬38 for one night with electricity.

Great campsite with a fantastic view. Friendly welcome. Well-functioning and clean sanitary facilities. Spacious pitches (hard standing) and a great hotel-restaurant within walking distance (Myrtle Bank Hotel). We would love to come back here again.

I would give 5 stars for the location in a heartbeat, but otherwise there is quite a bit to criticize. The pitches are spacious but often muddy and soft; you have to be careful not to get stuck with a larger camper. Furthermore, there is only one decent toilet block, but if you are unlucky, it can take you a while to get there (we took almost 10 minutes). And having no mobile phone connection in this day and age is really unacceptable. No Wi-Fi, fine.

We don't understand the grumbling in some reviews. We were received extremely kindly and were allowed to choose our own spot. The sanitary facilities are basic, but everything works and is clean, and the view is amazing. It is a great place to stay. We paid Β£33 including electricity.

What a beautiful campsite this is and what a friendly welcome. The campsite was built by the community and the profits benefit local charities. Beautiful spacious pitches, excellent sanitary facilities, and the village is within walking distance. We paid Β£27 without electricity.

Beautiful location and friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities and the rest of the amenities are absolutely top-notch. Every time we come here, we are pleasantly surprised that everything has been taken to an even higher level.

Unique spot on Loch Craignish. Simon, the owner, has really made something special of it. Even though everything is basic, everything is there, and it is clean and working. You come here for peace and quiet. We paid Β£30 per night.

Beautiful campsite with all the amenities. Excellent hardstanding pitches. Balloch station is a 10-minute walk away. From here, take the train to Glasgow (return ticket costs β¬8.50 pp). You can also cycle along a largely separate cycle path beside Loch Lomond. It is priceyβwe paid Β£42 per nightβbut it is well worth it.

What a view. Beautiful, spacious free spot by the sea. The public toilets are spotless, but unfortunately close between 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM. The disabled toilet does remain open at night. Toilet use costs 50p, payable by debit card or phone. Here again, a feeling of safety and little disturbance from traffic.

Great spot if you want to visit Belfast. We were able to park our 7.85 m camper easily, if you park with the back on the grass. The bus stop is right outside. We stayed here safely and quietly. Officially, you are allowed to stay for a maximum of 12 hours, but this is not enforced.

Pleasantly surprised by this beautiful campsite within cycling distance of the Giants Causway (5 km). Nice and super clean sanitary facilities, spacious pitches. Unfortunately, blocks are needed, hence only 4 stars, because during the construction of the paved pitches they could have paid more attention to leveling the sites.

This is an absolute must-visit if you are in Connemara. There is a large, spacious car park opposite the pub. Several spots have electricity. You can use the toilet there when the pub is open. We didn't hear any traffic. Definitely have dinner there, as the quality is top-notch. It is not for nothing that the pub was named the best pub in Ireland in 2025. We paid β¬20 for one night.

What a great place to be with your camper. Joe is super friendly and does everything to make you feel comfortable. Large, spacious pitches with electricity. Excellent sanitary facilities, clean and fully equipped. Convenient place to empty your toilet. We paid β¬30 for 1 night.

Beautiful and quiet campsite with excellent and clean facilities. The pitches are spacious and spread across the campsite. We were welcomed extremely kindly and given a great pitch, even though we had not reserved and it was quite busy. We paid β¬38 including electricity.

Great place to stay for one night and visit the cliffs. We stayed here peacefully and felt safe. After 9 pm everyone is gone, and you are parked quietly and safely with a few other campers. Unfortunately, the toilets in the parking lot are out of order. We paid β¬24 for 24 hours.

Great spot in the center of Dingle. Michael welcomes you warmly and does his utmost to make everyone feel comfortable. The grounds look a bit messy, but that is because they are working hard to expand the facilities. We will definitely come back here again.

What a fantastic spot this is. Large, spacious pitches and monitored by cameras. The charming center of Kenmare is within walking distance and you are right on the Ring of Kerry. Even though there are few amenities (you can fill up with fresh water), it is still worth 5 stars. We stayed here for β¬21.20 for 1 night. Pretty good, right?

If you are touring Ireland, this is highly recommended. Everything is just right here. Beautiful, spacious pitches, nice and well-functioning sanitary facilities, and for β¬31 everything is included. Friendly welcome and tips for activities. The snack bar and coffee bar on weekends are a nice extra touch. You can enjoy great walking and cycling here, with Bere Island being highly recommended. In short, we will definitely be back on our next visit to Ireland.

Received a very warm welcome and got a great spot. There is also the option for electricity (for a fee) for 1 camper. You can also empty your toilet there (for a fee) and fill up with water. You can walk to the beautiful coast in 10 minutes and it is very quiet there. A great place to spend the night.

We stayed here for two nights in peace and quiet, feeling safe. There is nothing else around, not even trash cans. You can hear some traffic, but it is not bothersome. By bus (stop about a 200m walk) you can get to the center for β¬1.90 per person. The cost was β¬12 for 24 hours.

What a lovely place this is. Spacious pitches, excellent sanitary facilities, peace and quiet, and as a bonus, a delicious bottle of homemade apple juice upon arrival. We will definitely be back here.
Sitecode: 28717
A fine campsite with clean and somewhat outdated sanitary facilities. It is wonderfully quiet and the pitches are spacious. We paid β¬44 including electricity and 2 shower tokens. Some pitches are quite sloped, so blocks are definitely needed.

What a beautiful campsite. Lovely spacious pitches and great sanitary facilities. The Devilβs Bridge is within walking distance, and there is also a fantastic restaurant by the bridge. Highly recommended.

Great spot after the ferry arrives in Harwich. Even if you arrive after closing time, you are helped in a friendly manner. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but everything is clean and works. And yes, there is traffic noise, but we just slept right through it.

We are staying here for 2 nights at this great place. Even though there are no facilities, this is the place to be if you want to go to Dublin. Super friendly staff and a good bus connection to the center of Dublin. You don't pay anything on the condition that you eat at the Inn, and that is absolutely no hardship. In short, highly recommended.

what a lovely place this is. All amenities, beautiful pool, restaurant, friendly staff and clean. the places are spacious. supermarket at 150 m and the old center of Gallipoli is by bike only 4.5 km. Cycling here is also great along the coast. Really a big fat feather for this place.
