Actually more of a very large campsite than a camper spot. But everything is clean and stocked. We washed and dried a few washes there at the end of May 2024. The café/restaurant is cozy and noisy during the weekend. When we were there, there were 23 campers without it feeling very busy. Walking to the village for a small errand is nice and quiet. fine for a while...

nice spot! we stood here all alone on May 22, 2024. The miners from the adjacent mine start their shifts very early, so expect a lot of cars passing by around 6am. Tomorrow is gold in the mouth, so get up early for a nice walk through the surrounding forests. You can enjoy breakfast by the lake.

neatly arranged for a night in May 2024. all amenities available. you are close together, but the park between the parking lot and the water is lively and cozy and offers plenty of space for swimming, relaxing or people watching. The Husqvarna museum nearby is recommended. And the (long) walk along the coast to the center is also beautiful. Yes, you hear all kinds of things. But you are also in a city. With city sounds…

brilliant! we were here during the Pentecost weekend. almost alone. with fire pit and very beautiful surroundings! This is what you are looking for as a camper!! beautiful, clean, romantic, idyllic... at the top there is a large aggressive ant colony, but closer to the water they do not show themselves.

fine. everything neatly arranged. But just a little too raked for our liking. And many regular visitors. More of a campsite than an adventurous camper spot. handy to refill everything and have a nice shower and toilet...

we were here on May 14, 2024. You will also look great at the designated spots along the edge of the forest! There were 3 more campers with us. Toilets further down the beach work with a timer: they open at 8am and lock again at 10pm. Outdoor shower is cold but warmer than the sea... delicious ice creams and drinks at the kiosk. Forest with old Viking burial mounds is beautiful to walk. Great to enjoy the sunset for a few evenings

great for a (few) overnight stay(s)! No facilities but there is a fire pit! 🔥 very quiet except for the occasional car. There is a special dog forest nearby where dogs are allowed to run free. Beautiful walks in the area. Great place if you are traveling through Sweden or Norway.

we were here on May 10, 2024 for the second time in 3 years. And many camper-leute still have mailing on the signs between which there is room for 4 or 5 campers. The entire park is still used for (illegal) overnight stays. Not surprising: it's a great place! Everything present. Friendly village and beautiful surroundings. perfect to start a trip to the East or North of Europe. If I were from the municipality: expand!

little to add to previous reviews. wonderful to watch the ladies of the dairy from the skybox. As a bonus, seeing a calf being born! So fantastic place!

awesome place! I no longer say about the road to it: narrow but doable. the walks in the vicinity of the castle are phenomenal! you can stand there for free if you want, but a bite to eat really doesn't hurt: traditional German cuisine: schnitzel, schnitzel or trout. You can also score a good breakfast: 10 €, excellent buffet. or go to the toilet. and very nice owners… nothing wrong with that at all.

so this is such an undiscovered place. where you will be one of the first and which no one knows yet! Free! In a very small village. But beautiful! and quiet. (it seems that you can pay at the gas station, but they think everything is fine there). electricity, water, discharge: all for a euro or even for free. Three very nicely landscaped pitches. With space, privacy and very nice villagers. we were there all alone. But safe. Top spot!

all full, unfortunately. But the neighbor with his own company was fine if we put our camper in his parking lot just next to the CP. Also fine. No facilities and on asphalt, but the environment made up for it. lovely walk. day later water was tanked and dirty water discharged. And received power from another motor home: super sweet! bit small spots but lovely and friendly. recommended…

beautiful place! somewhat expensive: 9 € for 24 hours (pay at the machine, can be done with debit card or Apple Ipay), water and electricity costs extra (1 €). but you have plenty of space and lots of privacy. plus a toilet that is immaculately clean. Including toilet paper! and beautiful walks and cycling routes. We just stayed for 3 days… lovely!

fantastic place. there is a place with electricity for 6 campers (just like water, toilet discharge and gray water discharge included in the price, nowadays 10 €). next to the farm there are at least 6 places without electricity. we are now there with only 1 other camper. what a rest! meanwhile, the farm continues to run. with chickens and crowing roosters and the cows that want to be milked at 5 pm sharp. lovely!

there is nothing: except silence and rest. and the beach at 20m walking or 5m cycling. ideal beach for kite surfers. the place is huge, it can fit 100 campers. when we were there, there were a maximum of 6. a pity that - despite the fact that we stood far away from the rest (to give our dog space) and there was a sea of space left - still on both sides Belgian neighbors got just 4m away…. 😡

nice and small camper place. very basic but fine for one night. nice village too. but the best thing is the free egg at breakfast, from the own chickens that scurry around behind the campers! lovely!

neat pitches with high hedges for privacy. nice clean toilets too. electricity costs extra (1€ for 2kW), water refueling, gray water discharge and toilet cleaning included in the price. nice village to walk through. compared to Germany, Belgium and France, 17.50€ for a night is very expensive.

great campsite with a very helpful owner. because my sister was already there, we were allowed to stand next to it at a 'side-tent' rate. nice shop with all kinds of regional products. environment is un-Dutch beautiful! we will come back again!

great place. standing all over the farmyard. all facilities (very luxurious shower and toilet) available, except for gray water discharge. we even did some laundry there (€1.50). beautiful area for (racing) cycling or walking. we stay an extra night!

lovely! beautiful places. all amenities available. free canoeing… walking, swimming, (racing) cycling. the town has a great bakery and butcher, but also a very nice Lidl. There are also beautiful free places there, but there is more peace and greenery here. stayed for two days, but could have done more.

awesome! that's what camping is meant for! this is our second night. yesterday 4 other campers arrived after us, today we are alone. swimming, dog happy: beautiful and quiet. shopping in Möllenhagen (10km), nice walk in Ankershagen (15km). afterwards even kitesurfed on the deserted lake. now enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. (oh, another camper is coming up 😎)

we arrived on Sunday around 3 pm and then the field was full. piece or 8 campers side by side. in quieter periods quite nice I think, but now too full. we drove a bit.

pretty ok for one night i guess. we arrived on sunday during the holidays and then it was terribly busy in the bird park. we didn't feel like half a day between the families with small children. so drove on. but maybe one more time in a quieter period…

fantastic place. you can stand anywhere on the farm and everything has been thought of. The environment is nice (racing) cycling, you can go kitesurfing on the beach. and the Malinois Tina from manager Reinhard has taught our own Malinois a few new tricks! very nice stay and well worth the money!

great place! pool and sauna were closed. no power. water and a well to discharge dirty water. we were there alone for 2 nights, but that was wonderful! cycling to family in Veendam. dog liked it.

we stayed there for two nights. Right on the lake. No council official seen to pay. We were hiking. So paid at the Rathaus. It was more than worth the 8€. Swimming (especially the dog), walking, cycling… that's what vacation is meant to be. pay attention to the electricity: you pay for 24 hours. during that time you cannot top up.

not quite the intention: it is clearly indicated that campers may only stand within the boxes (and that is between the two P-signs, at the electricity column). But nobody cares about that. Not so strange, given the beautiful places in the park. A crowd of importance so (19 campers today) everyone has more than enough space. Environment is beautiful and fun racing bikes! Nice outdoor pool too. Shame to only stay 1 night!
