Let me temper the glowing reviews a bit: The campsite is beautifully situated, but the sanitary facilities are mediocre at the moment. There are too few showers for the number of pitches, and in the men's area, one of the 3 toilets is locked. Additionally, the showers are cold, even though you pay for them. Otherwise, it is clean and the pitches are nice.

Nice campsite in a convenient location if you want to visit the glaciers. No noise, spacious pitches, and updated coin-free sanitary facilities! Reserve your pitch with a QR code and pay by credit card; ideal. Stayed for 2 nights and had a great time.

After reading all the reviews, I would like to add some nuance. Upon arrival, I was greeted very pleasantly by the ladies on duty. After that, I was allowed to choose my own spot on this rather spacious campsite, with plenty of power hook-ups. That might be different later in the year, but right now it was reasonably quiet. Apparently, an extra toilet block was recently added next to the old one, because there are plenty of showers now. The food, by the way, was fine for the money.
