I would like to draw your attention to the recent price increase for the parking space. The cost has been doubled from €10 to €20 without any comprehensible justification. In my view, such a drastic adjustment is neither transparent nor appropriate. I will certainly avoid the parking space for the time being. A noticeable decrease in usage might prompt those responsible to reconsider the situation.

I originally planned to visit the campsite in Vianden – previously a lovely, well-located spot. But when I read about the recent price increase to a whopping €34 per night, I was honestly shocked. I won't be visiting this site again. And I'm sure that if other travelers react in the same way and choose alternative sites, we'll have to think carefully about whether to stick with this price.

Reserving a motorhome pitch should only be possible in exceptional cases. If all pitches are reservable, that's more like a campsite and contradicts my understanding of a pitch. On May 27, 2025, all pitches were already reserved for several days starting May 28 – that's precisely the problem."

"Beware of rip-offs! This parking space was free for a long time – now they're suddenly charging €14.50, with no discernible added value. We say: No thanks! This is how a beautiful place loses its good reputation."

The price has been increased by almost 50% – that's pretty steep. Even though there is now a toilet, most motorhome enthusiasts don't actually need it. Those who value such amenities are probably better off staying at a campsite.

Note: If you make a reservation by telephone in the tourist office for> 1 day, the parking space including the DreiWeltenCard costs 22 € / day and is therefore not free, because without the DreiWeltenCard it costs 14 € / day. A payment on site was not possible and should be done in the tourist office, how cumbersome. I added a photo about the fees.

The 5 Womo parking spaces are still ok, but standing on the car spaces is not possible. The Plartz car was bunched up with cars and WOMOs. When it is completely forgotten, many overcome their pain threshold. Simply impossible!

Everything has already been said about the pitch. Navi guides you through very narrow streets through the city. Possible access on the roads Appeldijk then right over the bridge and left again. Buiten de Waterpoort and then turn right into the De Punt This driveway (tree alley) is so narrow that no car or Womo should come along (about 300-400 m).

A very nice quiet clean Stellplatz.Sanitäranlagen Top.Der groundskeeper very friendly, he came several times a day to look after the right. We felt very comfortable here.
