Great spot. Neuschwanstein Castle is a half-hour bike ride away. 31 euros for 2 people and electricity. Until 13:00 the next day. For later departure, you can pay for extra hours up to a maximum of 17:00. Showers 50 cents.

What a terribly inconvenient system for entering and driving out. You have to buy a special pass (5 euros) which you top up to be able to stay overnight. When driving out (7 am), the barrier does not open. You can only call service from 8 am.

Please note: campers (and caravans) longer than 6 meters are not allowed on the campsite!!!! It is a real shame, because it would work perfectly fine in terms of pitches. It is the policy of the current owner.

Lovely and quiet, beautiful views. Fantastic (racing/electric) cycling around the lake or to the pass. 2-person campervan and electricity €30.50 per night. Some of the sanitary facilities are already closed at the end of August.

Beautiful spot on top of the mountain. We arrived on a narrow road and were warmly welcomed by the owner's brother (who was also there with his campervan). Electricity was provided by the house (5 euros/day). Fantastic for hiking here. We enjoyed two delicious meals at the inn, because the CP is free. Bring cash, but an IBAN transfer is also possible. You do have to love farm life! 😉

Beautiful area for lovely long walks (unfortunately, the reception staff couldn't offer any advice). However, they speak fantastic English and are very friendly. It's a great campsite with nice showers.
