Please note: Sign states: the campsite is closed until Easter '24 due to renovation. The entrance to the CP is probably easy to miss right next to it. The advice is to take a good look. Otherwise you'll miss him, as happened to us.

Eddy and Vera are friendly owners who make you feel at home. The campsite was recommended to us by friends. The advantage of allowing guests to arrive in a controlled manner is that the tranquility that the campsite wants to radiate is actually there. Choice: standing for free, in front of the gate on the left, on a large paved area without facilities. Paid: right side, simple (paved) terrain with electricity, lighting, garbage cans, waste water disposal. No black water drain. Toilet and shower at hostel. Close to a river and on a little-used railway line. Hostel in old train station. Place for outdoor sports enthusiasts, peace seekers and hikers. Police take a look 1 or 2 times a day.

Nice campsite, everything is there. Clean and a well-kept impression, large pitches that you could choose yourself in March. Also nice that no dogs are allowed. The greenery present is well maintained, for example beautifully trimmed flowering hedges. English language cafe available. Gas station nearby, it is cheap to refuel and daily groceries can be obtained by bike and walking distance. Don't forget the greenhouse on the way there.

ANWB discount also accepted, pet free, 22.50 per night 2 pers + camper. Shame about the E40, but wind direction other than NW may not be noisy. Sanitary fine. Recommended for a city trip to Bruges. Excellent bus connection to the center of Bruges.
