Excellent spot for a free spot. Restaurant close by and right on the Balchik 'prom'. Didn't put the overnight to a test, so not sure that you could rest easy, but otherwise , near perfect. No toilets that we could see but the restaurant will have them if you frequent

Absolutely, don't bother! We parked up, asked if it was okay to stay overnight to which the answer was "of course" had (a bad) lunch, went off exploring, returned expecting to have dinner because we thought we should, only to be told that the police would move us on. what a complete joke! this country exasperates me, they want tourism but are not prepared to accommodate all types of tourist..

For us, this was a perfect stopover. It had everything we needed and more besides, it was a very quiet spot, and our hosts were very quick to respond to our request. Impressive too were our companion Motorhomes ... Many of which were what dreams are made of :) Thank you Maria!
