Great quiet and level Stellplatz in the heart of town. For a free spot, it doesn't get much better. Need long cable for electricity if you're in one of the further places from the access point.

We stopped here after business hours looking for water. It's hard to find, but there is a service setup on the backside along Weiherstrasse. It hard to get to though because it's up against the building and they park their vans on either side of it. With a long hose it was possible. Also seemed that there were no places to stay overnight since they use these places for their own vans too.

Pictures that others have posted give an accurate view. Great little spot with electricity and water available. Front area has dedicated pitches and back area is open. We stayed here for a quick overnight but I think it would be plenty comfortable for a multiple night stay.

Great spot to top off on everything. Requires a token that can be purchased inside. Pull through lane a little tight. There is also a self service propane tank cage.

Great spot for a night or two. Arrived late but had no trouble paying the next morning at the tourist office. Small store in town with baked items. Across from a phenomenal playground. Electricity was provided but all hook-ups were occupied. The toilets are the squatting kind. Really beautiful location.

Beautiful place to stay. Paved but uneven and hard to level with wedges. Short cars were parked in the camper spots but we (6m) had no trouble parking in the shorter spots. Currently there is a camper that looks abandoned in the lot. Short walk to town where there IS a bakery open. All in all a great, free overnight.

Great basic Stellplatz. Ability to pay-by-meter perfect for when you need to arrive late. Nestled in city park. Quiet and comfortable.

This is the first campground I have stayed at of this kind. I was blown away by how organized, clean, and secure the site was. I would also agree with other reviewers that you should choose a place on the west side. It has direct access to grocery and the beach and is only a 10min walk to the Balticplatz. I realize you get what you pay for, but I do wish it was a bit cheaper.

They provide a maps at registration (see above). Excellent playground 5 minute walk down the river. Long electricity cable needed. We visited (uknowingly) during their Pfingstvolksfest. The lady at the check in desk was nice enough to let us know before we registered that the music might be loud. We opted to stay anyway and it wasn't too bad. All in all, a great spot.
