A very popular (transit) spot, with many late arrivals (traffic avoiders?). The camper site was full, with 5 more already booked, and another 10 further on... and that so late in the season. We also booked an "extra site." It was a lovely spot with restrooms and restaurants nearby.

Great location! Plenty of space. Restrooms are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the nature center. There's also Wi-Fi, a water tap, and an outdoor shower. A kiosk sells (soft) ice cream, drinks, and food. Right on the beach. So beautiful that we stayed here for five nights. Great for cycling and hiking, and perfect for dogs.

This campsite is absolutely fantastic! The most beautiful campsite we've ever stayed at. Everything is provided and is impeccably maintained! Very hospitable. Beautifully landscaped with lots of greenery, trees, and plants, and close to the town center and the castle.

What a beautiful place! This is a truly wonderful location. After dark, you can see the lights across the water, and we were there under a full moon! We lacked nothing here! Toilet, shower, kitchen, water, electricity, and a swimming area... and all for just 175 guilders.

Nicely located near the city center. You'll need a bit of luck to get a spot. TIP: Buy a day bus ticket (75 DKK per person) at the tourist information center in the city center and take the bus to Odense. Parking is a nightmare there (expensive and campervan-unfriendly).

Great campsite in a beautiful location, close to the beach. Friendly new owners (since 2022). The route there is scenic. The sanitary facilities are dated but clean, Wi-Fi only at reception, and phone reception isn't great. Highly recommended.

Camper place with only a waste bin. Contribution of €4,- you deposit in the barrel at the information board at the entrance. Absolute highlight is the restaurant (Ankerplatz) across the street. They serve delicious schnitzels and there is a toilet there.

Asked at Tourist Bureau: you are allowed to stay here overnight and for 48 hours (they do not enforce this). BUT: make sure your entire camper is within the lines of the parking space!! otherwise you will get a fine. This place is very popular.

Beautiful view over the Danish Wadden Sea. Spacious flat spot right on the beach and the water. Access road last 2 km unpaved, not too wide and you have to cross 2 cattle grids, but then you come to a unique quiet spot. Spacious toilet with sink, picnic tables and bbq available.

Today, June 1, 2025, was the official opening of the upgrade to a campsite with now a total of 30 places. There are now 6 flat paved (gravel) camper places, 4 of which have electricity and 4 power points on the grass. There is a shower, new kitchen, living room and shop where the owner sells (own brewed) beer. Rates: 120 kr pitch, 40 kr per night/unit electricity, shower (1) 25 kr, waste water discharge 30 kr, toilet (1) and water free.

CP at the ferry crossing, nice spot on the point. Toilet, electricity, dump toilet and dirty water available.

super place! you can stand past the signs. spectacular view now that it is quite windy. recommended. In the town itself you can view sand sculptures.

Very nice place to park for free and stay overnight. 1.3 km (18 min) walk to the lighthouse on the dune. very worthwhile to go there. 5 toilets, waste container and kiosk with ice cream and drinks. Surprising how few campers use it now with Ascension Day.

Free until June 1st, but already crowded in the morning at the end of May. Nice walk to the northern tip of Denmark. Clean toilets available. After the visit we drove to a much quieter place at Rabjerg Mile

Very good place for 1 night. in May very quiet (in contrast to the northern point at Grenen, which was overcrowded) spotless toilets and water tap, waste container and picnic tables available. you are with the camper at the foot of the walking dune! beautiful!

Indeed messy harbor atmosphere with friendly staff. for our bus camper it was doable, but for slightly larger campers there is hardly any room to maneuver because of the many trailers and boats that are (parked) there.

Everything was fine, compliments! customized walking and cycling route suggestions from camper place available. underfloor heating in toilet building is wonderful at this time of year!

Beautiful location right on the heath, especially if you can get a spot right on the edge. Starting point for beautiful walks. €15,- for 24 hours, service point for dirty water and toilet drainage. Some spots with electricity. In the weekends during the heather bloom almost no place to get. but during the week enough space. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place with the hospitable farmer. nice walk from camper place over Pietzmoor. stayed 3 nights instead of 1. it was that beautiful. electricity but no toilet and shower (otherwise the score would have been a big 5) village 7min bike ride, supermarkets are there and excellent Greek restaurant Athen

A very beautiful spot on a pebble beach, which is waiting for further development. The owner has had plans for expansion, modernization and a new toilet building for some time, but it is a nature protection area, which means that a permit will have to wait. Still very popular in its current form. Already about 75 campers... excellent restaurant and sandwich service at Strandgut. cycling area and steam train stops in front of the door on request.

The campsite is beautifully situated, nature reserve + beach on your doorstep. Basic price of €23.50 (pre-season) is fine. We score 3 stars because the new sanitary building did not smell clean and you now pay an extra €6.50 per person in mandatory tax (expert card), even for a 1 night stay. (Alternative camper spot (€12) a few hundred meters away if you are self-sufficient, your own toilet is required there.)

Well-organized large camper spot (100 spots), access via parking card, can also be used for 2 new sanitary buildings. Leaving the camper site is allowed until a maximum of 3 p.m. Sightseeing center and Ozianium about 20 minutes walk. NB! fills up very quickly! even out of season…

Quiet, spacious, friendly campsite. Extremely hospitable campsite managers Steen and Lisette make your stay here very pleasant. They have been at Caravana Leeuwarden for 15 years and receive many (returning) guests through this fair, and rightly so! Fantastically beautiful place to stand! Super! “Day trippers” come especially for the sunset… and then leave again. Toilet remains open at night and hot and cold water (free). no electricity and no gray water drainage/toilet discharge, but still 5 stars!! Spectacularly beautiful circular walk Hammerknuden cattle starts here, take your time (3 hours) because there are many viewpoints + photo spots.

On the harbor quay, self-service ticket machine in the harbor office DK255 per night, sanitary facilities (with numerical code) behind the office, also washing machine. power pole available. we drove on.

Nice place, sanitary facilities clean and spacious. NB! harbor master warns not to drive over the hill with campers! too style! boat trip Rugen and chalk cliffs departs from the doorstep. tour is long, 09 to 18 but worth it. However, it can also be done from Rugen itself. Hotel Zur Zwiebel recommended, traditional German dishes, very tasty!

Excellent place to visit Hamburg. Also in November there are still 20 campers present! Heated toilet block (also washing dishes), electricity and service, water included for a fixed annual price of €29. Baker Schanzen (huge range and breakfast possible) and Italian Alitalia 👍at 100 meters at the entrance to Hammerbrook train station (1 stop from Hauptbahnhof)

Very nice camper spot with top sanitary facilities on site. More and more places are being paved, but BEWARE with pets, because there is not yet chipping in the pavement everywhere! Dogs can get badly injured in the deep holes! (that's why no 5)

Very nice new camper spot, perfect for transit. picnic benches available and walking dogs from the spot. bread machine closed on Wed, no shops nearby. Water, discharge and waste container. Was full at 5pm today. And we totally get that!

Arrived around 10.15am, but check-in is only allowed at 1.30pm. Parking in front of the gate was allowed. so we went into town and visited the castle. When we returned at 1.30 pm there were 25 campers in front of the gate and a long queue for reception😡 we just kept driving…. had a nice “parking spot” near the castle.

Very nice place right on the Liore. You can dispose of waste, but there are no other facilities. But who needs more than this beautiful view? We were here last night with 17 campers! and that before the end of September! so popular.

nice place, in September the grapes are picked by hand for 3 weeks. therefore there are many cars until about 6 p.m. then all rest until 7:30 am. then they come back again. nice hustle and bustle!

no room for our camper because there were 7 cars on the parking ban for cars (on the camper pitches).

stood here for 1 night behind a barrier, €16 toilets remain open at night. short spots, but during this quiet time everyone stands lengthwise behind each other. At sunrise you can take beautiful photos of the castle. from there walk down. tip: a little further away Koawa relais du campeur, €18.50 incl. electricity, sanitary facilities, free shower, washing up area and swimming pool in July and August

Although no facilities, but a good place for an overnight stay. regular parking lot where you can find a spot between the cars. pizzeria is right across the street!

This gives us an unsafe feeling. remote and a bit “dirty” place. We really didn't want to leave the camper here for a visit to Mechelen and we certainly didn't want to spend the night. just drove on….

Nice place to stand. officially there are 5 (paved) places, but between the motorhome signs there are also 2 places in the grass. you have to be a bit lucky to get a spot here.

The entire back section of the Rhododendron Park car park is designated for campers. at least 24 free places available. park visit not required. neat place without facilities.

Here you really pay for the location near the lake and center. €19.60 ex electricity. toilet and shower in the swimming pool (but if it is closed, no sanitary facilities. On Mondays, the swimming pool only opens at 12:00 pm) but free swimming if you are at the motorhome!

From 1-1-2023 you have to pay for accommodation via a complicated app, where you have to create a card and enter a lot of data. €4.60 per night. price / quality is fine, electricity € 1, - and toilet in dixi. If you want to visit the park you get a €3 discount per person on the entrance fee of €14. We recommend this place.

Only just opened and very well estimated what motor home owners appreciate. Very friendly welcome, nice sanitary facilities and beautiful walking to a lake nearby. With continued success of this motorhome, expansion of sanitary facilities would be a great option. but for now: great!!!

beach at your doorstep! In 2015, tons of cubic meters of sand were sprayed on, resulting in a beautiful new beach, (play) lagoon in Camperduin and palendorp. beautiful cycling to Schoorl. Saturday evening very tasty pizzas are baked in the bus at the reception. campsite otherwise ok.

top motorhome as we love to see it! beautifully furnished with paved part. for the camper and your own piece of grass per pitch. new spotless sanitary facilities and a nice communal “recreation room”. real eye for detail in amenities. very nice hospitable owner who seems very happy to do this.

Beautifully landscaped and still new-looking motorhome that has just been opened for 1 year. Spacious pitches partly paved and partly with grass. Quiet environment. Service present. Perhaps expanding sanitary facilities in the future (now 2 toilets combined with shower present) which is little for 24 places. Washing up place would also be welcome. above all praise.

Recommended! A really nice, well-maintained mini campsite with very large pitches in the green. Super welcoming, bicycles can be stored inside, sanitary facilities are good, clean and spacious. a little further from the dunes and beach, but it is well worth the extra distance!

Nice little quiet campsite in a great location. price-quality more than good € 14.40 per night 2 pers all included. tip: beautiful cycle route to Bayeux marked with green signs, about 10 km one way. start in Arromanche in village, head towards Ryes. Upwards a lot of false flat, back down again (goes twice as fast!)
