Ended up here unexpectedly. A neat, small campsite with spacious pitches by a small river. Both sun and shade are available. There is a bar at the campsite where you can also eat, and a small river beach. The sanitary building is quite new, clean, and equipped with toilet paper and hand soap. There is a service area for campers at the entrance to the campsite. We paid €11.44 for a camper with 2 people. Electricity is an extra €3.

Beautiful, quiet place. The bar in the village is closed on Mondays. Everything is very neat and well-maintained. The murals are worth a walk in the evening.

The location is fine, but the maintenance is poor. It seems as though as little time as possible is spent on as little maintenance as possible. Trash cans have been removed. From here, you can easily drive to Loulé for the market and on to Faro. The village itself is also nice for a walk. The clothing museum has an exhibition about the cork industry.

Stayed last night, very nice facility! Quiet, friendly village. Toilets, ATM, and restaurants nearby. 4 pitches, quite close together, one of which is unusable if the other 3 are occupied. The water was perfectly clear and we took it as drinking water.

June 1, 2026: seemed to be completely closed off.

Beautiful place to stay. Very friendly and well organized. We hadn't reserved and paid €10 on the spot. We were able to join a tasting right away for €20 pp. For grey water and the toilet, we went to the free service point in Barcos. We also took on clean water here and had breakfast in the shade. Very large picnic area.

May 23, 2026: CP is under maintenance. The disposal and water storage area is also out of use. A nice spot in itself.

Nice little campsite within cycling distance of Marienbad. Beautiful view, blocks are required. The peace is wonderful and there is plenty to see in the area. Food is simple, but very tasty. Friendly owner. The grey water drain is being worked on. This will be ready this season.
