The swimming pool is fenced and (temporarily?) closed. It looks messy. The camper facilities are still in use. There are few places to eat in the village and not much atmosphere.

beautiful campsite in a quiet place. You can check in in advance via their site (then you can see if there are still places) there is no reception. You can put up a camper if there is room. (please note, there may be many online bookings and no places left if you have not booked) Someone will come by in the evening. The campsite was recently taken over and is being renovated piece by piece. toilets and showers are neat.

a beautiful place with a view of the (in our case) rising water. Further on you look out over the Burren. little traffic in the evening and at night.
