Beautiful, natural campsite on the edge of the Dune du Pilat with fantastic views. Check-in was professional. All the extras are included, such as a pool, supermarket, restaurant, etc. The sanitary facilities were impeccably clean. There's no waste disposal on the site; rubbish bins are only located outside the grounds, but there's a dog waste bag dispenser every 50 meters β go figure. 36 euros for a campervan, 2 people including electricity in the off-season (already quite full) is still reasonable.

The campsite advertised by AI as "the most beautiful in the Rioja region" turned out to be the worst of our entire northern Spain trip. More like a funfair. We were relegated to a large field for group camping. Just as awful as the unfriendly check-in and the large but only moderately clean sanitary facilities. The Wi-Fi was abysmal. The town of Haro is an ugly, overgrown place with no charm whatsoever. The only worthwhile thing is a visit to the wineries. In short: not worth considering as a travel destination.

Impeccable campsite near the (somewhat neglected) beach at Porto do Son, a rather unattractive place. Friendly owner, very clean sanitary facilities, large pitches, baguette service. Water/waste disposal and electricity available. 15 euros for a campervan, 2 people and electricity in the off-season is very fair.

Good for one night in LeΓ³n. Central parking lot on the riverbank for β¬5/24 hours. No services, trash containers next to the parking lot. Operating the ticket machine isn't for beginners, but manageable. Restrooms are available in the Leon Plaza shopping center across the street. The city center is easily reachable on foot along the river.

A well-located overnight parking area (within cycling distance of the cathedral) with Pablo as an extremely friendly and helpful owner, offering good tips. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean. Water/waste disposal and electricity are available. Due to its proximity to the motorway, it's not entirely quiet. β¬22 for a campervan, 2 people, and electricity. Hot showers are β¬1.

A meticulously clean and very well-maintained campsite right on the beautiful beach of Penarronda. Everything is regulated by 25 site rules. The only thing missing are the garden gnomes β it feels a bit sterile. Friendly owners, excellent sanitary facilities. Pitches are sufficiently large and separated. Ribadeo is within cycling distance. 34 euros for a campervan, 2 people, and electricity in the off-season is still reasonable.

Contact was made via a WhatsApp link on the website. A pitch was confirmed within 2 minutes. Friendly welcome, check-in including the invoice was completely digital β excellent. Free choice of pitch. Very large pitches. Sanitary facilities were very clean. With the ACSI card, it was β¬21 for a campervan, 2 people, and electricity β very fair. The town of Ribadesella itself is rather disappointing.

A very well-maintained campsite with all the extras (pool, professional washing machine, etc.) in a fantastic location (hiking, e-biking). Very friendly welcome and site briefing. Large, though some are quite narrow, pitches. Sanitary facilities very clean and comfortable. Decent, reasonably priced restaurant. With ACSI, β¬21 for a campervan, 2 people. Electricity - very fair price.

The website's booking form didn't work because the correct ID information wasn't being transferred. A reservation made two days in advance via email to the address provided on the website, using the information from the form in Basque (deep), was quickly confirmed β excellent. The site is functional with electricity and water/waste disposal, but the toilets are completely undersized (no shower). The staff were only moderately friendly. Great view and bus connection. β¬21 per night for a campervan, 2 people, including electricity, is reasonable.

A classic campsite with everything you need, but rather small pitches above Zarautz β a 439-step walk to the beach (and back!). Zarautz and Getaria are within cycling distance. There's a bus shuttle to Zarautz and a bus connection from Zarautz to Bilbao. The welcome and check-in were very friendly and professional, even without a reservation. The sanitary facilities are large and very clean. With an ACSI card, the price is fair β β¬27 per night for a campervan, two people, and electricity.

Overnight parking in a good location surrounded by greenery, within cycling distance of San Sebastian β a very bike-friendly city worth seeing. Online booking and check-in were good. Prices (off-season: β¬42 per night for 2 people, campervan, electricity) are completely exorbitant. Pitches 71-91 are far too small/narrow, very uneven, and poorly maintained. Low quality of stay. Sanitary facilities are okay.

A top-notch campsite right on the seafront with all the extras (pool, etc.) in a great location between Bidart and Biarritz. Biarritz is easily accessible by bicycle. We hadn't made a reservation. The reception was very friendly, and check-in was professional and quick. The campsite has a very well-thought-out layout with large, terraced pitches. There's private access to the beach through a secure gate. The sanitary facilities are first-class. It's not exactly cheap (42 euros per night for two campers, including electricity).

Okay for one night if you want to get to Tours quickly and don't care about hygiene in the sanitary facilities. The center of Tours is easily accessible by bicycle from there. We hadn't made a reservation, but the reception staff were very friendly and the check-in was professional and quick. The pitches are large enough even for larger motorhomes. The sanitary facilities, however, are absolutely appalling β there's no other way to describe them.

A decent campsite within walking distance of the center of Epernay. We hadn't made a reservation. Very friendly welcome at reception. Clean sanitary facilities. Sufficiently large, separated pitches. Very tidy. Bread roll service on site. Ideally suited if you want to spend a day or two in Epernay.

Very spacious site with large pitches in a great, quiet location, a 10-minute bike ride from the sea. Ample and very clean sanitary facilities. All necessary amenities for campervans. The booking, check-in, and check-out processes are exemplary. Access barriers open via license plate recognition. Beautiful surroundings with dune landscapes and good bike paths. Wijk, Egmond, Alkmaar, and Bergen are easily accessible by bike. Overall, highly recommended.

Beautifully situated agricamping in the wine region around Bolgheri. Ideal starting point for cycling tours. Well-maintained grounds with large pitches separated by hedges and a pool. Very clean restrooms. Pitches with electricity. Within walking distance of the Osteria Caccia al Piano (a must-have). RV, 2 people, electricity: β¬35 - OK. The only downside to our stay in early June: what felt like a million biting mosquitoes, apparently nesting in the hedges between the pitches.

A very original campsite with an equally original host. A stunning setting near the lake. Adequately sized pitches with and without electricity. New, very clean, but somewhat undersized restroom facilities. Plenty of play equipment for children. A restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating and excellent food. No dogs allowed. A pitch for a motorhome, 2 people, without electricity: β¬25. Electricity: β¬5. Easy reservations by phone.

A very well-organized and well-frequented agricampsite in an excellent strategic location near the picturesque town of Lucca (within cycling distance). Extremely friendly and dedicated staff. The pitches are fairly narrow and have electricity. The restrooms are very clean. The beautiful, refreshing pool is available. RV waste disposal and water disposal are available. Reservations are quick and easy via WhatsApp. Advance booking is highly recommended.

The Podere Etrusco Agricamping is within walking distance of the (fairly crowded) beach in Baratti. Easy reservations via WhatsApp, and the owner is friendly. The gravel road access is a bit adventurous, but manageable. The pitches are narrow and have electricity. Clean and spacious restrooms. Perfect for one night.

Beautiful campsite with a very friendly owner. Easy reservation via WhatsApp. Large pitches with electricity, excellent sanitary facilities, nice pool, RV water and waste disposal. Bread roll service, wine, olive oil, and honey sales β simply fantastic. Barely any shade. Dogs allowed. RV, 2 people, electricity β¬32 β OK. Grosetto (within cycling distance) was disappointing. For fans of dead stones: Etruscan excavations in Roselle are worthwhile. A rustic pizzeria in Batignano.

The pitch can only be booked with the InArea app. Installing the app (Italian/English), which provides access to various pitches in Tuscany, is a bit tricky, but worthwhile. The barriers on the site for entry/exit can only be opened via the app, which also charges the pitch fee (β¬10 for a motorhome, 2 people, including electricity) via credit card and a QR code. A quiet location almost on the lake, spartan. Only electricity and waste disposal. Okay for one night.

A very nice place somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Easy contact/booking via WhatsApp. Friendly operator. Large pitches with great views; absolute peace and quiet. Electricity and water supply and disposal for the motorhome are available. Very clean, practical restrooms. A lovingly designed pool for cooling off. Volterra is easily accessible by e-bike. The nearby town of Pomarance is a must-see. β¬33 for a motorhome, 2 p.m. with electricity, very OK.
Sitecode: 29415
Newly designed, high-frequency site with tight parking spaces. Strategically located near Florence's old town; easily accessible from there by public transportation or bicycle. The booking process and check-in are very digital and professional. Friendly staff. Advance booking recommended. β¬50 for a motorhome, 2 people, electricity OK. Many services (pool, restaurant, ticket shop, and much more). The restrooms are poorly planned and undersized.

Beautifully located spot with a great view. Simply a meadow without any services (not even a trash can) and without any signage. You can find it by asking. Good: Quick response and reservation confirmation to an email request a week in advance. Too bad: The owner seemed rather disturbed upon arrival. Rather taciturn and moderately friendlyβbut that's beside the point. Payment (β¬16 per night) is not acknowledged.
