The campsite nearby is only 12.40e a night and a little oasis by the river. We haven’t used the outside parking as the campsite was so inviting.

Big space park by swimming pool, seemed ok but close to two motorways, noisy even with earplugs. Two others nearby, suggest you try them.

Good stop for cycling along the Elbe. Ferry stopped at 4pm but can walk over bridge. Pizza restaurant nearby which also take away. Good English there.

Peaceful spot in September. Lots of cars and bikes arrived for football training in the evening but no problem. Great bike rides and walks in the woods and into the small town.

Plenty of space on level car park overnight near the chairlift down the Thale. Cafe and restaurant, but not sure they were open in the evening. Walks along the top and lower down if you used the chairlift.

A bit tricky to find as it is only signed as car park from road. Easy walk around small town and motor home spares shop nearby.

Lovely place near the therme and the town. Modern service connections. Electricity metered and paid 50cents for 2 kilowatt hours. Several good things to see nearby and restaurants. Supermarkets, churches all walkable. Tubke panoramic painting is a must see, 123 m around. Good walk up the hill.

Only a few marked spaces for motor homes competing with cars during the day. More spaces available later. MH not limited to the few marked spaces, so may want to shuffle when the cars leave. Erfurt is a lovely place to visit. The town itself is the best part and do go into the town hall Rathaus.

Car park for lido (outdoor swimming pool). Quiet but not lonely. Small cafe at pool.
