Great location, friendly staff, right on the forest. But what a shame that when you're with six campers, some dirty people still manage to leave the toilet dirty. I'd never heard of washing my hands because the sink was dry. So, I recommend never touching the doorknob.

A fantastic campsite in a beautiful location! Everything is perfectly organized. Everything is neat and clean. The owners do everything they can to keep it clean and tidy and to ensure everyone has a good time. So I can only give it 5 stars, and if it were 6, they would get them 🤗

We have been coming here for years 2x a year towards north and south, there are less and less or no places because of people who are stuck there or for multiple days. You are lucky if you have a place. Then it has become dirty and unkempt. So... time to look for a place where they maintain it better 🤷‍♂️ Too bad!!!

A great place if you are self-sufficient! You only hear the road when the wind comes from there. Stefaan (nice manager) comes to settle around 19:00/20:00 if you don't have the exact change. Two eggs for breakfast are included in the price. Nothing negative to think of, so next time again.

The location is great, but for 36.00 euros you can at least expect clean sanitary facilities! The spots downstairs are tiny. There are more spots at a lake where it is clean. It was really dirty and not from one day, hair on the seat, floors dirty, rags at the dishes as if cars had been washed with them. Not really our idea of clean sanitary facilities. The manager is nice but does too little to keep it clean.

What a strange campsite! They don't need to know who you are, just pay. Everyone from outside walks over the 'campsite' The manager is nice but that woman is a piece of grumpy. Three old-fashioned showers and three toilets per gender. Good that they stop next year because the sense didn't radiate from it.

Very nice but very large campsite! Everything looks fine and clean. Didn't try the bistro, next time. The city is a 10 minute walk and you can walk very well around the campsite. Various hiking trails nearby without having to drive. I'll go again to walk the 5,7,9,11,26 km walks 🤗

What a campsite! Or rather what a management. First we are put in the Sahel because the wood has to be chipped so one dust mess, then the managers are chatting next to your camper at 07.30 in the morning. What do you go to a campsite for? 🤔 The shower is a tub in a cubicle and the toilet is the door ajar. They still have a lot to do and learn there! So from us a zero stars. Unfortunately 1 is the minimum! Nothing about the check-in yet pfffff

For the second time at Karin and Evert's CP! It was fantastic, what great people these two are! We sailed on the lake with the motorboat, had a delicious meal in the restaurant, swam and played in the water with the dog and walked!! What more could you want on holiday. If there were more stars to give, they would get them. You can shower/wash in the lake. The toilet is next to the restaurant and you can use it.

In itself fine for one night, however, it is a bare piece of grassland with electricity poles on it. To say atmospheric uhm NO. The showers have a shower curtain and you can walk to the changing room naked 🤷‍♂️ really old-fashioned. So price/quality is not in accordance in my opinion. The village can be reached on foot in fifteen minutes and that is a plus if you have something to look for there.

Great to spend a day when the weather is nice! We didn't sleep there, it's one sandbox.

Very nice place, shop around the corner. Nice owner very relaxed, indeed find a place yourself if he is not there and no stress if you do not have the correct change. He comes by the campsite every morning and afternoon! Over the bridge 2nd right halfway towards the ski area you can walk to the nature reserve, it is 1.5 km to there, there are the indicated routes. Sanitary facilities are fine, water warm. That's how it should be for 30 euros or more!!

Fantastic place! There is space, it is quiet and is located on a lake. You can do your own beaver safari. The shop is 500 meters away as well as a pizza baker. Village 1 km walk. There is a clean toilet building and you can tap water behind it. Price 150 crowns via a website pay with credit card.

Uhm I don't understand these reviews at all! A terrain with boulders like an excavation site, nowhere straight and when it rains one muddy mess. One toilet and one shower and a shower cubicle for families with 5 shower heads. 🤷‍♂️ The people were friendly indeed but it really shouldn't bear the name camping. After the tour we drove around twice and called it a day. What a disappointment if you drove so far for it. Too bad!!!

Great campsite, sanitary facilities are really excellent, neat and clean. The lady of the campsite is a really nice 'woman' that's what we call it in Rotterdam 🤪 Very friendly and gave us nice tips on departure. The gentleman of the campsite is also a friendly guy. Really nothing to complain about. You can take a few walks from the campsite 2, 3 and 5 km rounds. I'm going back next year because there is so much to see in that area. Super!!!

Great campsite, there is just not much to do. Walking is already far before you start the walk. Beach is red sand and that makes a mess when it is wet. The sanitary facilities are beautiful and clean. The pizza is tasty but not spectacular. For us as an overnight campsite good enough but not for multiple days.

what a place! Beautifully maintained super friendly welcome by Lasse! There are few to no facilities! A dry toilet and a shower and sauna where the owner first has to heat the place with wood. 🪵 For 100 kr you can stand in this super beautiful village without electricity and running water. But for a feeling of being at the end of the world. You don't have to call in advance. It is exactly where the navigation takes you.

fantastic place! If you are self-sufficient it is wonderful. You can walk well even 10 km round, swimming, bbq at the lake etc. We were alone and only sometimes got some visits from the older villagers 🙏

Great campsite for a night or two.

If you don't think the sanitary facilities are old, you're not used to much! The shower curtains that stick to your ass are definitely not modern. It is all clean. Ernie from the campsite not much to do or you let them drive. Furthermore, some straight places but otherwise well slanted. The manager is friendly and the price is reasonable for what you get.

great campsite in the low season very affordable! Showers and toilets are very clean. Some spots D are a bit sloping but if you have blocks with you it is easy to arrange. At the bistro you can eat but with dog only outside. Shop 2 km away through beautiful nature along the water on a constructed path. So recommended. We stayed for 2 days because we liked it.

You are not allowed to stay there overnight! There are signs 25 meters from the parking lot saying no camping. If you pretend you don't see it, well then you can stay there, but that is not the intention.

Nice owner but way too expensive for what you get! A smelly shed where you can shower and go to the toilet. Washing dishes outside at not so clean sinks. Early in the morning already a lot of noise from traffic and pay 25.00 euros. I think there is something better possibly for a little more money 🤷‍♂️

fantastic place! you can walk to the war museum 7 km there and back or the other way to the lighthouse. total price incl overnight stay 150 dkk for that you can stay there overnight and you have a toilet at your disposal! Neat, quiet and clean!

Not very handy if you have a dog with you or are afraid of dogs! There are signs everywhere with dogs running loose, I didn't see them but I don't want to encounter them with my dog! It looked okay but no owner to be seen so you can't ask anything. Too bad!!

Great place! 2022, 2023 and now 2024 have proven again that it is the best place! More people are now staying for more than one week and that no longer gives us the space to drive here spontaneously. I'm told it's often full. Too bad there is no limit of 3 days or something 😉

Camper place on the road! Noise all night, very early in the morning the workers who sleep in the hotel go to work. These cars and vans are opposite your camper, so there is noise again. The food in the restaurant is so salty that you get shares in the salt flats. So all in all I'll stay far away from it next time 😐

Very neat clean place! There is nothing, but there is no need for that. There are almost no cars on the road. The lake is 1.5 km away. And the costs here are 10 euros incl. electricity and water. So... in our opinion, highly recommended 👍

great place to stay overnight! Security drives around the Citadel itself. You can also enjoy walking there. There is a waste bin and nothing else 😊

Paying with EasyPark is easy for a foreigner! I paid with it all over Sweden 🙄 So make sure your apps are in order and not illegal. You're ruining it for others!

Beautiful location at the harbour! Sanitary facilities are excellent, toilet and shower! Very busy, especially in the first row with Norwegians. Price is now 304 kr per night but not too much for what you get 😊

Beautiful place on the mountain! I don't see how you want to fit 5 campers on the 'straight' part, there is room for 3/4 on one side and 1/2 on the sloping part on the other side! super nice view!

Great spot! Almost no traffic in the evening. Toilet building is cleaned in the evening. Furthermore, you can simply walk around for many kilometers through the forests behind the CP and along the river. A really nice spot.

fantastic spot on the lake! You can hardly hear the road and I don't think anyone drives at night. Very remote but so cool! 17 km to the first village. We had snow and frost, Nova Zembla looked so beautiful. You gotta love it 😊 There are only two trash cans so be self-sufficient. Top place as far as we are concerned.

Beautiful place for one night! If you are bothered by wind, two campers can be parked downstairs, so it wasn't a problem! Snow showers and chilly because it is high. That shouldn't spoil the fun, right 😉 There is only a rubbish bin but a beautiful view so it's fantastic for free.

Best place for one night! What is a shame is that a number of people think they are above the law and do not pay 🙄 So childish for 5 euros and they ruin it for others. Here you can go to the public toilet, enjoy a nice walk to the viewpoint 3.5 km there and 3.5 km back and much more. So good enough for us for that little bit of money 😊👍

great place to stay overnight! The road is sometimes a bit busy but quiet at night. Two supermarkets at the door. You can enjoy beautiful walks here. We walked the Horningseater to a beautiful waterfall. This is easy, but very difficult if you are not in shape. There are some things, everyone wants to be at the front, so sometimes they are literally on your lips. If you are smart and leave just enough space next to your neighbor, you will be fine. So recommended

The place is fantastic but there is nothing else except sheep 🐑 poop 💩 The entrance/toll costs 100 kr and it is worth driving through the park. There are not many sleeping places where you can stand straight and without poop. So we spent the day and continued driving.

What a fantastic CP spot! you almost go around the beautiful lake, but the bridge is gone so you have to walk back about 4 km. There are clean toilets and picnic benches. Very quiet! there were two of us 😊

What friendly people! The camper place is located on the lake and has a public toilet a little further away. The road is quite noisy until the evening, but it doesn't cost much to be there so don't complain. The restaurant is excellent for delicious food for very reasonable prices. We highly recommend it. An overpriced campsite between the train and highway. sanitary facilities are neat but exaggerated. We don't need 'golden' taps, so the price is much too high. 41.00 euros incl. electricity and 8 min shower 🤷‍♂️ In the morning before dawn a dog show next to the campsite on the field with the radio on loudly. Who comes up with it 🙄 so…. There is probably something better available, otherwise just stand in nature.

Great place for a night! price is 22 euros but there is toilet and shower. Not the prettiest, but usable. I slept well until the garbage truck arrived at 6:30 am 😂 Otherwise ok!

great place, just a pity that there were 3 Danes and they behaved antisocially! Two took up so much space that no other could fit in and one parked right in front of a German and our nose, while that was not the intention. So bad behavior! Too bad because the place is really nice with a view 😉🙄

In the autumn this was a good dog sitting inside! Now the dog is running loose and barking at you. The lady did not hold her dog even though it is normal that they do not cause any nuisance. Mine doesn't like stray dogs running towards her so that is an issue. Another camper with a stray dog. That's also dirty, in the autumn I also saw shit between the hedge. We will never go there again. It's for sale so it's not necessary 😉

The most beautiful and pleasant campsite on the Veluwe if you respect the grass and the service building! Ineke and Rob do everything they can to keep it tidy and expect the same from their guests. The dogs are very welcome, it is a small effort to ensure that they do not pee on the campsite. Saturday evening is happy hour 🍻 a pleasant gathering where everyone is welcome. Sunday morning with coffee ☕️ too. So enjoy there!!!!

Really crazy! 29.00 euros for 1 night in January 🙄🙄 I will never go here. Prices are not correct people, just look further on the website!!!! Claimed for camper contact pffff to stand out. Hopefully it will be noticed that it is highly exaggerated and they will put the actual price down!

2nd time here. 2022 and now in 2023. Nothing changes, just a great place for transit to the north or south 👌 The Greek Samos was also perfect again and around the corner from the CP.

perfect for toilet and gray discharge. you can be closer to visiting the city. This is free, but public transport also costs money.

Friendly welcome, toilet and shower in the shed so private bathroom is exaggerated (sounds nice but it isn't) 🙄 It was dirty and we ran out of toilet paper. Furthermore, it smells very much like cigars, if you didn't already have asthma you would get it spontaneously. So... as far as we're concerned, not worth repeating. VAT. for 20 euros 💶 you can really go better.

Well what can I say about this. One much too expensive campsite for what is delivered. Have to pull the words out wbt. where you can walk. Owner was friendly but made little effort. Then ask twice how the shower works and then pay 67.00 euros excl. shower 🙄 Went a little further to a campsite that is much better and one third as cheap.

Stayed here for two nights due to storm Babette. We were given a spot in the lee of the house so that we were not exposed to the wind stood. Dutch owners are super friendly. The area is nice for a walk. Power and water tap for filling bottles available. 😊

fantastic campsite! Choose your own seat, but it is so large that you always have a good position. Sanitary facilities are beautiful and clean. Lars is the terribly friendly owner. Even when his wife charged me too little, he said “because you are Dutch” and I left with 124 kroner for 1 night! So a bargain 🙏

If you think there is something wrong with this campsite, then you are not used to anything! The owners are great, warm and very proud of their campsite and want to keep everything neat and beautiful. bit strange, camping and motorhome look the same only one is 42.00 and the other 22.00 difference that you can use the shower and toilet! both way too expensive for the place you get! Drinking water has to be paid for as well as the shower. grey, chemical toilet discharge free.

excellent CP with shower (paid) electricity (paid) and toilet free. 16.00 euros per night. location is great, nice for cycling or walking. Reception is friendly and you can order sandwiches for the morning. 500 meters away next to the football field (turn left with your back to CP) is a Greek with delicious food for little. The campsite's restaurant is also good, but some of the staff are unwelcoming. So went to the Greek 2nd day 😊

They only do what, when it comes to price! First 1 night 26.80 without electricity because luckily they had one place without electricity for me. When I get to that place, there is just power for all places. We didn't need it so didn't use it. Then asked for another overnight stay the next day and then it suddenly costs 35.00 euros? Explanation was quickly babbled in French so no idea why it suddenly costs 9 euros more 😳 strange!!

very friendly receptionists, excellent motorhome for 17.50 incl. electricity, shower, toilet! Quiet in the evening, night and morning and excellent hiking opportunities. Village with shops to walk to. So great!

Really 😕 never go! You will be put in a bad place if you stay one night while I suggested that you might stay longer. Immediately settled, we leave in the morning, the owner calls have he already paid?? Strange way of dealing with customers. He'd be better off clearing junk because where you look there's rubbish.

fantastic place, bit of road noise but otherwise everything you wish for! bakery, supermarket everything within walking distance! shower, toilet in health center. drain water, tap water, drain chemical toilet everything is there. 15.30 per night excl. one euro of electricity per 8 hours and water tank filling 1 euro per 2 min. You must have tried restaurant Engel, they can make delicious German food there 😜😜 So….great place. Have fun hiking 🚶‍♀️

Firstly the reception was not to my liking, not very inviting. Secondly, as the innkeeper trusts his guests, power is connected behind a lock in a cupboard! So you can't even drive away if you want to (afraid you won't pay) 😳 Thirdly, way too expensive for a mud puddle, black ground that sticks everywhere and therefore makes everything dirty and also scours your floor. You can walk everywhere so you don't have to go there.

fantastic campsite, everything is there, it works well, the shower is nice and warm with a good spray and it also costs next to nothing! The boy worker is fantastic, friendly and helpful! We paid 12.34 euros per night for 2 people, dog and camper! Many possibilities for walking, see sign at the church in the village. The baker comes every day but the times change from 9-11.30 am 😂 So….. all in all had a good day!
