Called prior to arrival to check availability and cost- told it was €11/night. On arrival told its €11/person + tax. We did not have enough cash, told we could pay on card. WiFi did not work. Toilet doors didn’t lock. Went to pay, told they don’t accept card. No cash machines in town. No signal or WiFi to do bank transfer. Miserable woman behind desk. A shame as it’s a beautiful place.

Absolutely incredible spot, in the middle of June we had it completely to ourselves other than one or two others in the distance. Bought a beer in the bar, no one asked us to pay despite mentions in other reviews.

Absolutely stunning, couldn’t wish for more. Granted, if you want somewhere with water and electricity so you can watch rubbish tv then stay at home. Goats as our guests for dinner are far more entertaining then Eastenders will ever be!!! Quiet location, site wasn’t busy, hundreds of stunning walks, funicular 2 mins drive away.

Can’t believe how ‘average’ all the other reviews are! Beautiful location, outdoor picnicking area, fire/bbq area, water, right by the river. Beautiful town a 10 min walk away - visit the church/castle and all the pinchos bars! All doing free dishes with a glass of wine. Didn’t notice the road noise either but that may have been down to the wine...!

Convenient location, found it super easy to get 10 min bus into the city. Wasn’t busy at all. There’s also a free water pump about 100 yards away from the site, next to the outdoor gym (on left hand side of the road as you’re driving out the site) slight noise from trains & sirens in the morning.

Huge space, we were the only ones there the night we stayed. Beautiful views. There was actually a tap nearby on the left hand side as you drive out of the site!

Good free spot in a great location right by the beach. However, everyone was parked over 2 spaces, in an already tight and small parking area. Many people arriving later in the evening couldn’t stay due to other people’s excellent ‘parking’. Toilets nearby but were in terrible condition.

Beautiful village, and huge site to park up. Right by the river, parking on field so could get boggy if lots of rain. No electricity, water is paid for (2€) toilet just across from the site.

Really pretty village to walk around with lots of walking paths. Sites in a secluded area with toilets and water. Very well kept grass and fields surrounding which you can explore - very short walk to the river with a well maintained path. Very quiet when we stayed, no one else around! Can imagine it would get busier in peak times but plenty of space.

Nice quiet location, close 2 minute scoot to the beach. Town is very sleepy, however empty roads = lots of scooting space - but its v pretty :) no facilities apart from bins, however scooted past some public toilets and a shower on the beach front. Love the scooty boiz (on the gram @scootyboiz)
