It seems like a dusty place, but it's not that bad. The tram connection (line 26) to the Altstad is easy to find and costs only 9.80 for the whole day with 2 adults and three children can travel with it. Filling up with water gave us some problems, but the owners (in the tropical bar behind the windscreens) have been extremely helpful to us. Heidelberg has a beautiful Old Town and is worth a visit.

A beautiful place indeed. Too bad that 2 days of tile grinding at the neighbors had to take place. Had a lot of noise pollution.

V&E is on the other side of the bridge/Mainz. Very clumsily marked. Furthermore, a giant funfair has been set up here from 16 to 26 June, which will not bother you as a motor home. Standing for several days, then it will be slightly cheaper.

The stated price only applies from 3 nights. Bit misleading.

Is not true. Places are 27 euros including all amenities. Otherwise tight place for the camping / CP for € 5.50 and no facilities.
