A bit of a dull view and outside the city centre, but the pitches are nice and spacious; you can sit outside and relax, and water and even electricity are free. Dead quiet in the evening and at night. I do get the impression that one Belgian and a Pole have been staying there for longer than 48 hours; they were already there when we arrived, and when we drove away after 48 hours, they were still there, all windows tinted.

Beautiful camper pitch, many cycling opportunities. We cycled from here to Bernkasstel Cues.

Quiet, flat camper site with no facilities except for a toilet, but you are right on the Moselle and the pleasure boat mooring. On the right in Reisstrasse is a wine cellar called Opa’s Saftladen. Delicious food, the wine glasses not filled at 02 but significantly more, and a cozy Gastwirt with old-fashioned wooden games if the wait for food takes longer.

Indeed a nice parking lot where you can park and visit the beautiful village. The payment machine was out of order, we parked there for free.

It is incredible when you see the beautiful photos of what the camper site used to look like with many trees. After the floods in 2021, only a bare plain remained, as can be seen in the last photo. We went to a village festival in Dernau and met friendly people. Due to the floods, many houses became uninhabitable or were even swept away. The village is starting to recover; many houses have been renovated,

Quiet camper site with many walking opportunities and wine festivals. The consequences of the 2021 Catastrophe are still visible; many houses remain empty and await renovation.

Beautiful free camper site with all amenities, compliments to the municipality. I agree with the points mentioned in the previous reviews. It's a shame that the hiking trails along the caves and the old mills aren't clearly marked; it's a search term.

You're well-positioned and can drop off and take anything. If the place is full, there are plenty of parking spots nearby. There's not much to do in the place itself, but we had a delicious meal.

Beautiful, well-maintained camper site, charming mountain village, and excellent cycling surroundings. The only downside is the entry and exit. Many arriving campers don't realize that the gate doesn't open until after noon, and before that time, there are 4 or 5 campers waiting in front of the gate, pressing the open button.
