Great spot right on the canal. Electricity is available for a fee. There's a rubbish disposal area. The pitch is very level and at €9 a night, it's an absolute bargain! The owner is very friendly. You can take fantastic bike rides in the surrounding area and also get to Bückeburg very quickly. It's simply perfect for watching the ships on the canal!

An absolute gem! Everything you could possibly need for relaxation is here… Large pitches with fantastic views! Everything is very well-maintained and lovingly designed. The owner is a sweetheart and does such a wonderful job. People seeking absolute peace and quiet in stunning nature shouldn't miss this place… We'll definitely be back!

A true gem! No toilet or shower, but one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed! It's absolutely worth the €17 per night! So beautiful, so quiet, and super friendly and interesting hosts! We'll definitely be back!

Great place. Better than the pictures! Very friendly and dedicated staff. Brand new restrooms and a great restaurant. Paid €30 per night for two people, camper, and electricity. Absolutely worth it!

The campsite was still closed on May 17, 2025, despite other information. Apparently opening next week. They could have posted a notice up the road, which would have saved them the difficult drive. The site looks great at first glance and is very conveniently located right on the river.

"Only" a parking space, no parking space. Great location for a stroll around town! Everything without service. Paying with the app costs 16 pounds per 24 hours. In cash 13 pounds only possible with coins! We had neither fear nor problems. It was quiet again even as expected! I would park there again for a city tour and also stay overnight.

Good place to visit the city! The bus stops in front of the door and goes directly to the city for a small euro. The places are big enough. The key only toilet takes some getting used to, and seated staff a bit slow. But the value for money fits!
