What a great place; you can pay with PayPal or at the sanitary building with cash in an envelope. We just did everything in the camper, but that isn't necessary; you can also use the sanitary building. For us, it's a place to return to. There is a beautiful hiking trail across the road; it starts uphill, with the last stretch to the waterfall being tough. Definitely worth it!

We can't think of anything negative. Just do it

Nice place, the arrival is a bit strange, you can't come before 13:00 and you have to call when you are in front of the gate. The phone number is on a large sign, to the right of the gate. You will then receive instructions where you can stand etc. and the gate will be opened for you. I did not use the sanitary facilities, so I have no opinion about it.

Don't forget your earplugs, you can hear the trains on both sides of the Rhine all night long. The view is magnificent, but you will leave feeling exhausted. The man behind the reception is anything but helpful. Don't ask where you can get something to eat, you can figure that out yourself. Where you discharge your waste water, you can also tap water. Next to the reception building

For €19.70, including electricity, it was wonderfully quiet. Was fine for an overnight stay. Of course quiet at this time of year, we also had to stay on the path, because it had rained quite a lot and then the place itself would sink. Great solution, sanitary facilities were okay, pay attention to which shower you take. You couldn't hang the shower head everywhere and then you have to hold it. That is just a bit more difficult. much quieter than the camper place

No reservations, but we were there around 12:00, luckily there was still a spot at the front of the 'camper field' opposite the sanitary building. It was okay, not great. You can easily reach the beautiful Freiburg by bike. The restaurant next to the campsite has good food, fills up quickly, but you can also take the food with you. Unfortunately, they don't tell you this.

in itself it was reasonable, but the (heated) toilets and (heated) showers were downright filthy when we were there 27/28-10. And that while it had just been 'cleaned'. The reception building is beautiful, but for us it stopped there. There is a train running right past and you can hear a church, but they are quiet at night. Once but never again for us.

the place is very neat and quiet in terms of traffic. There are many places, at the time we are there it is not too bad. Arriving is a bit of a puzzle, but is in almost every language. the price is very fair for what you 'get'. Too bad there is no public toilet building open nearby. There is something on the site itself, but is boarded up. Unfortunately. But otherwise great!

lovely quiet spot, you do need to provide all the comforts with your camper. In the quiet adjacent park there is a public toilet building. When we were there it was downright dirty. free water tap, with a lot of patience (keep pressing the button). emptying the toilet and emptying the waste water tank, all free. For 1 night it is fine and completely free

fine for 1 night if you have self-catering facilities with you.

Place is ok, on the edge of a village by the water. You don't even dare to walk into the public toilet building, the entrance is too dirty. So if you can do everything else in your camper yourself, it's a great place. Dumping is free, everything else you have to pay for. A little further on is a campsite, in low season with electricity that is 19.70 for 1 night.
