Beautiful flat fields, sufficient electricity supplies. on the field behind the swimming pool the grass is a bit soggy after rainfall. Judging from the tracks, only light campers can park there. There is also the discharge point.

Electricity grid is not sufficient for large groups and costs 1200 isk per night. with 20 campers on site, the refrigerators fail and run on gas. Beautiful nature, beautiful natural pools, good restaurant in the hotel and friendly owner. nice campsite.

Showers not available on the campsite. only in the pool. For 950 ISK you can use the swimming pool, hot tub and showers. Seniors, in Iceland >67, pay half. The swimming pool is about 800 m from the campsite. So you want to shower again when you get back to your camper. 😉

Simple neat campsite with indeed too few facilities in high season. Well clean. Friendly manager. Near the pool. Whaling can be arranged in the village.

Camping has gotten smaller over the years and has become one of the most expensive in Iceland. You are crooked everywhere. The water at this campsite smells of sulfur. The washing machine is no longer there. There is a laundry service, converted € 28, - max 6 kg, but you will get it back clean, dry and folded.
