Well...it's not exactly a 4-star campsite (to my predecessor). Check-in/check-out is straightforward, and wastewater and toilet emptying are included in the price. You have to drive close to the barrier when entering and exiting. And it's definitely noisy in the front pitches. Cars drive right through your garage. But unfortunately, it's one of the few campsites still open.

But to give only one star??? There was absolutely no litter lying around! The campsite is a typical Italian one with somewhat dated showers. The view of Mount Etna is breathtaking, and the water at the beach is incredibly clear.

The beach... well... you can't really call it that. The sea is only accessible via a jetty. The scenery is great. But the place isn't just getting old, it's also completely neglected. It's slowly falling into disrepair. The toilets are clean, but the showers desperately need renovation.

A simple campsite between the road and the sea. Fantastic if you manage to snag one of the few spots right on the beach. Otherwise, the road noise is a bit louder... quieter in the evening.

The campsite was relatively empty in the off-season. The price is €30 in Frontline. Good pizza places nearby. The showers need renovating.

Parking is available on Holhack within the fenced company grounds. Toilet disposal is available in the portable toilets at the rear. Friendly owners.

Some campers aren't happy with anything. Thanks to the municipality for the clean, free site.

We've been here a few times over the past few years. But unfortunately, prices in Switzerland have skyrocketed...including this place.
